WWE News: ‘WWE NXT’ April 27 Spoiler-Free Preview [Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura]
For anyone who watched WWE Monday Night RAW this week or visited WWE’s official website, they have revealed some major spoilers about the episode of WWE NXT that airs on April 27. For the sake of anyone who was able to get to this article without first discovering the spoilers, the details will be spared. But any show that has Shinsuke Nakamura in addition to a NXT Championship Match between Finn Balor and Samoa Joe is going to be a show that members of the WWE Universe are not going to want to miss. With all of the main roster rumblings caused by former Bullet Club members AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson, anything involving Nakamura and Balor could have a huge impact on the WWE product.

So far, WWE has only posted two matches on their official NXT preview (note: spoilers are revealed in the official preview), and it isn’t clear whether or not any other matches will air. While WWE doesn’t always publish every match for NXT, tomorrow’s episode could end up being just two matches. Some matches were taped at WrestleMania Axxess that still have not aired on regular WWE NXT programming. We will take a look at possible matches from those tapings that could air this week, in addition to the Samoa Joe/Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura/Elias Samson matches.
Confirmed matches
- NXT Championship Match: Finn Balor (c) vs. Samoa Joe — After his match with Apollo Crews on WWE NXT last week, Samoa Joe was asked what his plans were in NXT, since he’d lost two title matches to Finn Balor. Joe said that the NXT Universe shouldn’t assume he’s done chasing after the NXT Championship just because he lost twice. Could the third time be the charm? This match was taped on April 21 at a live NXT event in Lowell, Massachusetts.

- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Elias Samson — At the end of last week’s WWE NXT, commissioner/general manager William Regal approached Samson to let him know that he’d be facing Shinsuke Nakamura on this week’s episode. Samson is definitely the underdog here and with rumors that Finn Balor will soon be joining Styles, Gallows and Anderson to complete The Bullet Club on the main roster, his absence will leave a void. The “King of Strong Style” may be the man to fill that void. This match was taped in Dallas, Texas, on April 3 at a WrestleMania Axxess event.

Unconfirmed matches
The following matches were taped at the same WrestleMania Axxess event as the Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Elias Samson match that will air on April 27. These matches could air alongside the Finn Balor/Samoa Joe NXT Championship Match. On the other hand, WWE could save them for next week’s WWE NXT.

- Blake & Murphy vs. The Hype Bros
- Carmella vs. Aliyah
- The Revival vs. Scott Parker and Shane Matthews
