Santa Monica, CA – Among all of the active celebrity stalkers out there, Sheryl Crow’s might be the most threatening. Luckily, a judge feels the same way and has granted the singer a three-year restraining order against the man who threatened to shoot her.

Deranged Sheryl Crow fan Philip Gordon Sparks threatened to shoot the singer (as well as film executive Harvey Weinstein), causing the two to seek out a restraining order against him. The restraining order was granted, with Superior Court Judge James Hahn ordering Sparks to stay at least 300 yards away from both Crow and Weinstein at all times and to make no attempt to contact either of them whatsoever, according to NY Daily.

The stalker, 45-year-old Philip Gordon Sparks, agreed to the terms of the restraining order after an hour-long hearing during which he accused Crow and Weinstein of stealing $7.5 million from him, videotaping and following him without permission, and rendering him homeless. Sound crazy? A forensic psychiatrist who interviewed Sparks thought so too, calling him “imminently dangerous” and warning that his psychosis is pointed primarily at singer-songwriter Crow, notes MSN.

“Mr. Sparks is unambiguously delusional,” forensic psychiatrist Dr. David Glaser testified during the hearing.

Crow was granted a temporary restraining order back in July after her team found a series of online posts from Sparks directed at the singer. Then, a Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists employee wrote an accompanying declaration that confirmed Sparks’ threat against Crow, also including the bit about Weinstein.

A nine-time Grammy Award winner, 50-year-old Crow has two sons, ages 5 and 2, who are also covered by the restraining order. Neither Crow nor Weinstein attended their stalker’s hearing.
