Huge Walt Disney World Offers Released For 2016: Free Dining Is Back For Fall And Winter
It’s the discounted offer that fans of Walt Disney World wait for, rather impatiently, every single year. Free Disney Dining has once again been released to the general public, and it is available for select dates during the fall and winter of 2016. The promotion is already live, and guests are rushing to get it booked to save themselves some money while enjoying some magic.
The details were all released in the early morning hours on Monday as Disney put everything on their official website. Booking of free dining began immediately, but it must be booked by July 8 in order to take advantage of the discount.
It is not available for all dates throughout the final five months of the year. Disney has it only valid for most nights during the following date ranges.
- August 23 through October 1, 2016
- November 15 through November 21, 2016
- November 26 through November 28, 2016
- December 10 through December 21, 2016
Guests must also purchase a full Disney vacation package that includes room, dining plan, and theme park tickets with the Park Hopper option or the Water Park Fun & More option.
There are some excluded resorts as well, and they will not be available for the Free Disney Dining offer. Those include any three-bedroom villas, campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, The Little Mermaid rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and others.
According to My Mickey Vacation, those staying at Value Resorts will receive the Quick-Service Dining Plan and those at other resorts will receive the Standard (Base) Dining Plan for free. Guests are able to upgrade their dining plans, though, and simply pay the difference.
There were a couple of other discounted offers released for later in the year at Walt Disney World as well.
One of the offers is called the Back-To-School Savings discount, and it is essentially what many in the Disney-know refer to as a room-only offer. Guests can save up to 25 percent on select Walt Disney World Resort hotels for stays most nights from August 26 through November 5.
Disney is also offering up two other discounts — the Late Summer Family Time Package and the Early Fall Vacation with Kid-Size Package. Both must be booked through August 31, so you do have a bit more time for these, but again, the rooms are limited.
Both of those discounts are also good for stays most Sunday through Thursday nights between the dates of August 1 and November 5.
The room-only and other two discounts are usually quite helpful for those who may already have theme park tickets, annual passes, or for those not wanting to get a dining plan. Doing the math is essential, as one discount could save you much more than another.
Please note that each of these discounts are limited, and the allotment of rooms available for each one is not never-ending. Just having a room booked does not mean it is automatically discounted, as the offers must be applied.
This is a crazy time for those who love Walt Disney World, as guests are doing whatever they can to get their future trips locked in at great rates. The phone lines are surely going to be busy today, and the website may not be able to handle the traffic, but money will be saved.
Walt Disney World is one of the top vacation destinations in the entire world, but it’s going to cost you to get that sort of magic. That’s why it is great when the company comes out with discounts like Free Disney Dining to make it a little bit easier for its guests. Those traveling to WDW in the fall and winter of 2016 can take advantage of this fantastic offer, but they’ll need to do it quickly before it’s gone.
