‘WWE Monday Night RAW’ Preview — Shane McMahon, Bullet Club, Enzo & Big Cass [News]

Shane McMahon as the general manager of WWE Monday Night RAW has resulted in the WWE main roster debut of such talent as The Bullet Club (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows), Baron Corbin, and Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. It has also seen guys like AJ Styles and Sami Zayn getting huge pushes, while the WWE Divas division is being completely re-branded along with the WWE Women’s Championship. It’s a “new era” in WWE, and Shane McMahon appears to be leading the way.

On tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, the roster returns to the United States, minutes away from WWE’s headquarters in Connecticut. Will this be the first time the WWE Universe sees Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and Triple H since WrestleMania 32? Will The Authority be in attendance as The Bullet Club makes their in-ring debut against The Usos? Will Vince McMahon leave his ivory tower once again to check on his son’s progress in person?

Below is deeper look at WWE.com’s official Monday Night RAW preview for April 25. Each week, the site provides the WWE Universe with some borderline-spoilers in regards to the assumed events that will take place on the WWE’s flagship program, live on the USA Network.

WWE Monday Night RAW Preview

The three episodes of Monday Night RAW that have aired since WrestleMania 32 have been in front of traditionally-electric audiences, including the post-Mania crowd, the Staples Center in Los Angeles and the UK fans in London. If Shane receives another hot reaction from the WWE Universe in Hartford, Connecticut, could his position as the head of WWE RAW become permanent?

Styles’ longtime friends Gallows & Anderson to make RAW debut

While they aren’t a part of the tournament to determine the new No. 1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson may be the most talked-about tag team in WWE over the past few weeks. Having done little more than reunite with AJ Styles and attack The Usos and Roman Reigns, the former members of NJPW’s “The Bullet Club” have yet to make their intentions clear to the WWE Universe.

Roman Reigns has accused AJ Styles of bringing in Gallows and Anderson to help The Phenomenal One defeat The Big Dog at WWE Payback later this week. Styles claims to have had nothing to do with his friends attacking the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and his twin cousins. What will be revealed as The Usos face The Bullet Club on RAW?

How will Dean Ambrose retaliate against Chris Jericho?

Brock Lesnar has not been seen since his match against The Lunatic Fringe at WWE WrestleMania 32, and Dean Ambrose has been forced to move on. Now the former member of The Shield finds himself in a feud with another future WWE Hall of Famer: Chris Jericho.

Despite debuting alongside Roman Reigns, Ambrose seems to be considered a part of the “new wave” of talent that is getting a push with Shane in charge, while the WWE World Heavyweight Champion has stated that he plans on keeping the uprising at bay. But if Roman Reigns is a part of the “old guard,” doesn’t that make a guy like Y2J truly old-school?

Has Corbin stolen Ziggler’s spotlight?

Just three years ago, Dolph Ziggler stole the WrestleMania 29 spotlight when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase against Alberto Del Rio on Monday Night RAW to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Now, “The Show Off” has be reduced to putting over new talent.

At WrestleMania 32, we saw that WWE isn’t afraid to let established wrestlers get a PPV win over up-and-coming talent, as Chris Jericho defeated AJ Styles in his first major singles match as a WWE competitor. Assuming they are building to a one-on-one match at WWE Payback, is there any chance that Ziggler gets the upset win against Baron Corbin?

Will old-school fisticuffs trump new-school smacktalk?

During their respective stints in NXT, The Vaudevillains accomplished a major task that Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady never managed to achieve themselves: winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. Now, as they face each other on the main roster, Enzo and Big Cass have the chance to prove that Simon Gotch and Aiden English are truly “S.A.W.F.T.”

Is Shane McMahon’s tenure as RAW showrunner coming to an end?

As successful as Shane McMahon’s run as general manager of Monday Night RAW has been so far, it seems highly unlikely that his sister and brother-in-law will admit that Shane’s leadership is truly “best for business” for the WWE.

It’s only a matter of time before The Authority returns to Monday Night RAW to confront Shane McMahon. Having already been granted three weeks of free reign, it seems like a show so close to WWE headquarters has to result in Triple H and Steph complicating things for Shane-O-Mac on tonight’s WWE RAW.

Where To Watch
