The classic video of Prince kicking Kim Kardashian off the stage at one of his concerts has resurfaced as the singers shocking death.

As the world remembers and pays tribute to Prince, videos from some of his greatest moments are once again going viral. Along with his Super Bowl halftime performance in 2007, the video of the time that Prince booted Kardashian off his stage is blowing up all over the Internet.

Five years ago, Prince was performing at Madison Square Garden, when he shocked the audience by not only pointing out that Kardashian was there but also inviting her up on stage with him. It was a choice he would quickly regret once she got up there.

When Kim went on stage she literally froze, which is clearly not what Prince wanted from her. Obviously, if Prince calls you up on stage, it is to get your dance on. However in Kardashian’s case, she basically just stood there laughing, that did not go over well at all with the “When Doves Cry” singer. He got very annoyed and told her to “Get off the stage.”

The last thing fans expected that night at the concert was to see Prince kick Kim Kardashian off stage but it happened. It wasn’t all bad for the reality star, who quickly took to social media after her embarrassing moment. She did get a chance to redeem herself. Later on during the show, Prince gave Kim another chance to dance with him on stage. This time around Kardashian didn’t completely look like a tool and this time she didn’t freeze. Of course, the reality star immediately tweeted about how she had redeemed herself.

Although it was definitely not one of Kim’s best moments, it certainly was one of Prince’s. In the wake of his shocking death, the video has once again gone viral reminding fans that a beloved icon was gone.

The video isn’t all about dissing Kardashian and Prince wasn’t either. He was simply honest when he told her to get off his stage. He certainly didn’t invite her up there so she could stand there and laugh. However the fact that he asked her join him on stage again, just goes to show that it was all in good fun.

It isn’t so much the actual moment of getting to see Prince kick Kim Kardashian off stage that has made the video so popular again. The video not only shows what an amazing talent the singer had, but what an icon he was. Seriously, pretty much everything he did was iconic, especially when he performed, and to see him boot Kardashian off stage is just another example of that.

Seriously, who ever would have thought that someone of Prince’s stature would even think to invite the likes of Kim to join him on stage at a concert? Isn’t that honor reserved for people who deserve to be in the spotlight with the icon? Nothing against Kardashian, but she is literally the last person on earth anyone would expect see next to Prince.

Kim has yet to comment on the famous video resurfacing or the even the passing of the amazing singer that she was privileged enough to share the stage with.

A legend is gone. An icon is lost too soon. No matter how you look at it, the world is a little bit darker today without Prince. Thankfully there are plenty of amazing moments from the “Kiss” singer that will live on thanks to videos. One of the greatest moments ever is getting to watch Prince kick Kim Kardashian off stage over and over.
