Dating Kendall Jenner, Abusing Waiters, Wearing Cool Glasses — All The Times Harry Styles Was A Rockstar

Harry Styles may be the most well-known member of the world’s biggest pop group, One Direction, but evidence is mounting that the long-haired hottie is actually a rock star to the core.

Here we examine all the times Harry Styles demonstrated that he is the Mick Jagger of 2016, with a little more height and a little less mouth.

1. He is abusing restaurant staff now, apparently

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Harry “made life hell” for wait staff when he dined at a Los Angeles restaurant recently. The mag dubs Harry’s antics “obnoxious” and suggests that maybe the hunk is changing from the clean-cut and polite boy he was when One Direction first arrived on the scene.

“When One Direction first hit the scene, all the boys seemed like wide-eyed, impressionable rising stars, just grateful to be given a shot at the limelight… Fast forward a few years and they’re acting more like ungrateful, entitled jerks.”

Among Harry’s alleged antics at the L.A. eatery were loud chewing, slamming tables with his fist, addressing waitresses as “babe” and “hun,” and screaming at a valet who did not address him as “sir.”

“It was miserable sitting next to him,” reports a source.

While this story is probably not true, Harry is releasing his first rock-tinged album next year, so a couple of scandals could not really hurt.

2. He dated Kendall Jenner, a supermodel, and cheated on people as he was entering and exiting that relationship

Mirror reports that Harry’s ex, Megan Smith, claimed that she only learned Harry had cheated on her when she saw the shots of Styles and supermodel Kendall Jenner on a yacht.

Smith reflected that she felt like she was the girlfriend for the “quiet Cheshire boy” while Kendall was the girlfriend for rock star Harry Styles!

“Who is the real Harry? Maybe he doesn’t even know. Maybe I am the girlfriend for the quiet Cheshire boy and Kendall is the one for his rock star self — she fits that mold.”

3. He did that thing where he canoodled with Chelsea Handler on a bed in front of hundreds of people

Ooh Harry! Apparently the One Direction star and the comedienne “shocked” guests at a party when they got into bed together and canoodled under the gaze of dozens of assembled guests.

“They seemed to think nothing of the commotion they caused by plonking themselves together side by side in such an intimate setting… They were on a bed as people rushed around them and they were being pretty flirty.”

This sounds a lot like that famous/infamous incident where rocker Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates wrapped their limbs around each other while lying on a bed during a televised interview. The pair went on to date and have a daughter, and Yates earned the undying hatred of many INXS fans.

Last week, a rumor that Harry and Chelsea were dating actually surfaced.

4. He wore those glam rock suits

Harry’s suits pretty much set the standard for men’s fashion in 2015, earning him a place on a variety of GQ “Best Dressed Men” lists.

In 2016, Harry is making waves with his white-rimmed, Kurt Cobain-ish glasses and his wild array of printed shirts. Go Harry!

5. He has very long hair

Much has been said about Harry’s long locks, and every time new images of Harry appear in the Daily Mail at least one bland and ignorant comment-er will pipe up that Harry simply must “trim that mop” and/or “have a wash.”

Harry has not budged. Styles fueled speculation that the long-hair experiment was coming to an end when he went for a trim in February ’16, but it proved to be a false alarm. In fact, the star has taken to wrapping his long tresses up into a man-bun, perhaps to save his locks from the ravages of the elements and make sure he can keep them long and thick and glossy for some time to come.

6. He is cool as a cucumber

This is why that restaurant tantrum story is not quite believable. Many paparazzi, fans, interviewers and Harry-observers have noted that the star is incredibly even-tempered and almost never, ever loses his cool, even under duress.

Remember this chaotic scene at the airport? The pap was so impressed with Harry’s cool and collected attitude he marveled about it in the caption he wrote.

7. His vocals are powerful and soulful yet husky, as if he has a slight cold

This is best demonstrated in the “Drag Me Down” closing high notes, and actually even more evident when Harry recreates the notes during the James Corden One Direction carpool karaoke.

Harry has the huskiest, grittiest vocals of all the One Direction guys. Louis Tomlinson may be the big smoker, but it’s Harry Styles who sounds like he’s been through some packs of Marlboros and they’ve made his voice kinda gravelly in a sexy way.
