Emilia Clarke: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Actress Says ‘She Won’t Be Back’ — Focused On Upcoming ‘Me Over You’ Film

Game of Thrones actress, Emilia Clarke, says she’s not coming back to the Terminator franchise for the Genisys series.

The Mother of Dragons is absolutely certain that she’s not coming back to the set unlike her GOT co-star, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who may not be coming back.

However, the Inquisitr reported that Clarke all but confirmed he would in March.

Terminator Genisys flopped in a huge way absolutely failing in box office sales and snubbed by critics, which is probably why Clark said she’s not coming back.

According to Gizmodo, the movie did do well in China, nevertheless, Paramount pulled the sequel from its release schedule.

Clarke bluntly replied, when asked if she’s coming back.

“No, can I say that? it’s okay no but I have some very different roles coming up.”

Emilia Clarke was candid in not coming back to reprise her prominent role in the film as a young Sarah Connor as she’s focused on other projects.

However, Clarke not coming back to the Franchise doesn’t necessarily mean that there is no hope for the future of John Connor and The Terminator.

Instead, producers will have to take an entirely different spin on the series as needed since Emilia has stated that she is not coming back.

And one of these “other projects” Clarke was most likely referring to was her upcoming drama Me Before You where she plays the similarly named Lisa Clark who becomes a caregiver for William Traynor (Sam Claflin) this summer.

The upcoming film appears to be in its final post production stages.

Clarke’s quirky character “Lisa” is a stark contrast from her role as Daenerys Targaryen or the the Game of Thrones franchise altogether.

Perhaps not only is “Khaleesi” not coming back to play a renegade young Sarah Connor, but also trying not to come back to playing such grim characters.

According to IMDB, Clarke is also slated to star in a film titled Voice From The Stone Set back in 1950s Tuscany. Voice from the Stone is a suspense film centering Verena (Clarke) as a diligent nurse on a mission to assist a young boy who remains silent after the death of his mother.

Clarke has also made a recent appearance on the Conan O’Brien Show where she mentioned that The Game of Thrones should “Free the penis” on set.

Clarke appears to have far too much on her plate now to consider coming back to The Terminator. And all of her upcoming roles should make for a big year for the starlet.

The creators of Terminator Genisys are now left to deal with the painful fact that Clarke is not coming back. They can either terminate the legendary series and put it to rest knowing that it’ll be okay, or continue coming back to a franchise which was probably better off left untouched.
