Update: This article originally called George Boedecker the CEO of Crocs, he stepped down from that position in 2005 and is no longer involved with Crocs.

George Boedecker, the man behind the ultra-comfortable shoe line Crocs was arrested on a DUI charge this week and apparently he was so drunk that medics treating him at the scene of his arrest referred to him as “drunk as crap.”

After police confronted the uber-rich former CEO who was passed out in his 2010 Porsche Panamera he exited the vehicle and told them to “f*ck themselves “in the a**.”

The 51-year-old Boedecker than insisted that Taylor Swift was his girlfriend.

After that confrontation the night took a turn for the worse. Boedecker initially told police he pulled over to take a nap but than assist her “batsh*t crazy” girlfriend was driving the car. When asked who his girlfriend was he says “she’s a really f*cking famous singer” at which point he asked if they knew Taylor Swift.

Police proceeded to ask Boedecker for him address to which he let his true snob shine through and responded:

“I have 17 f*cking homes.”

When he was getting arrested George told me he “knew his f*cking rights.”

George than singled out one police officer and said he had earned an “enemy for life” and that he hoped the officer would “f*cking die.”

If there is one redeeming point in the story it was that police realizing he was the founder of Crocs shoes specifically noted that he was wearing flip flops at the time of his arrest.

Right about now Boedecker’s shoes are probably a lot more comfortable in their own skin than he is.
