Michelle Obama’s new haircut upstages Presidents big healthcare press conference

On a day US President Barack Obama was to talk health care via a televised press conference, the First Lady Michelle Obama set tongues wagging with a new haircut.

Michelle Obama’s new haircut made its debut Tuesday night at a White House reception for country music stars. The cut maintains the same sideswept bangs but is significantly shorter and the back and sides.

I’m not an expert on haircuts, so I’ll defer to the Examiner’s Dianne Richardson (also image credit), who described the haircut as “sassy” and a “modern and it will work beautifully with her fast paced lifestyle. And it looks exceptionally fabulous sans the pearl necklace.”
