Is A Gwen Stefani Wedding Coming Soon? She & Blake Shelton May Be Ready For Baby

What’s next for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton?

As the couple continues production on The Voice Season 10, rumors are swirling regarding a pregnancy, an engagement, and a future wedding.

As fans of Gwen Stefani and Shelton will likely recall, reports of a potential pregnancy first began swirling in November, just days after they confirmed their relationship during an outing at a Country Music Awards after party. Then, in February, the rumors began swirling again after OK! Magazine claimed Gwen Stefani was hiding a baby bump while visiting the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California. The report also said Gwen Stefani was rumored to be expecting twins with Shelton, but so far, no twins have arrived or been confirmed.

That said, the rumors have pressed on. In fact, just last week, a source claimed Gwen Stefani was going to be a pregnant bride after conceiving a child with Shelton but wanting to be married before the baby arrived. On the cover of an OK! Magazine report, a headline read, “Gwen Pregnant Bride,” and other titles included “$1 Million Ceremony” and “Secrets Of Their Oklahoma Wedding.”

“They’re expecting a baby girl and getting hitched this summer!” an insider told the magazine. “[Gwen Stefani] still believed you should be married before you have a baby. They’ve been trying to get pregnant for months, so this would be an absolute dream come true.”

While a Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton baby would surely be exciting news for their many fans, a source close to Shelton spoke to Gossip Cop hours after the report hit the web, confirming Stefani would not be a “pregnant bride,” and a rep for Stefani labeled the report “lies.”

Gwen Stefani and Shelton may not be headed to the altar quite yet, but when it comes to an engagement, a source claims they are close.

“Blake could propose to [Gwen Stefani] very soon,” a source close to Shelton revealed in the latest issue of Us Weekly. “Gwen is everything he wants. With Gwen, Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda… Her kids love him as much as she does.”

While Shelton has no children of his own, he’s been thrust into the world of kids with Gwen Stefani’s three boys, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2, and according to the report, he loves spending time as a family. He’d also like to welcome children of his own and his girlfriend, despite being 46, is said to be on board.

“Blake wants kids of his own, and [Gwen Stefani] is willing to try!” the source explained.

At this point, however, it seems highly unlikely that a pregnancy will be arranged as both Gwen Stefani and Shelton are extremely busy. In addition to filming new episodes of The Voice Season 10, Gwen Stefani is busy promoting her new album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like and preparing to go on tour, while Shelton’s new album, If I’m Honest, hits stores next month.

Despite their hectic work routines, Gwen Stefani and Shelton remain in close touch — even when they aren’t in the same town.

“[Gwen Stefani] texts Blake a million times a day, but he doesn’t mind at all,” the source said.
