Miley Cyrus Dates Mystery Man As Liam Hemsworth Denies Engagement: Adam Levine Feud On ‘The Voice’ Hits High Note

Miley Cyrus is finding some help amid the fallout that occurred when her off-again-on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth announced that the couple is not engaged. His denial of those engagement rumors came after the two seemed to have rekindled their romance, and Miley even has been seen sporting the same ring she wore the first time he proposed. Who do you call when you’re confused by the guy you’re dating? Miley turned to Liam’s sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky, for lunch with the girls in southern California, reported People.

Cyrus got together with the other women only days following the announcement that shocked fans of Miley and Liam’s rekindled romance.

“I am not engaged, no,” Hemsworth declared in refuting the reports that he had proposed again.

Cyrus and Liam dated several years ago, with the engagement occurring prior to their breakup in 2013. But then came their reconciliation this year, when Miley was seen flaunting the 3.5-carat engagement ring given to her by Hemsworth prior to their breakup.

“Miley is where she has wanted to be for the past two years. Back with Liam and very happy,” an insider revealed to People.

As to why Cyrus and Hemsworth broke up the first time, the source emphasized that the “Wrecking Ball” singer had never desired to end their relationship.

“Miley never wanted to split. Things just got so bad that they really needed the break.”

But now that Cyrus has learned what Liam said about their relationship, has she decided she’s free to date another man? Miley was seen in Malibu with a mystery man after Hemsworth’s denial of their engagement, according to Hollywood Life.

The unknown guy and Cyrus were observed exiting Nobu restaurant, with Miley looking cheerful as they were spotted driving in southern California. However, Cyrus reportedly still has dreams of walking down the wedding aisle to marry Liam, while Hemsworth feels that they’re a long way from tying the knot.

“Miley feels that they are engaged and will get married. Liam is happy as well in the relationship, but he believes that he would have to ask for her hand in marriage again to make it official again,” a source clarified to Hollywood Life.

While Cyrus and Hemsworth determine their future together, Miley already is hitting a high note on The Voice.

In her role as key adviser this season, Cyrus has been bickering constantly with coach Adam Levine, an insider told Us Weekly.

Miley “totally butted heads” with Adam, and the issue is their inability to pay attention for long periods of time, explained the insider.

“[Cyrus and Levine] both have short attention spans. They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”

In contrast, Cyrus is doing just fine with Blake Shelton. The country crooner coach and Miley do “extremely well” together, added the source.

Next season, Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Blake, and Adam will serve as coaches, with Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera both exiting after this season.

And with filming already started for the upcoming season, the feud between Miley and Levine is getting even hotter, according to Radar Online’s production source on The Voice.

In just two weeks of shooting the new season, the two have been observed arguing constantly.

“Adam and Miley were non-stop bickering during their last taping together,” revealed the insider. “He nitpicks almost every single thing she says. Adam seems to find Miley to be extremely loud-mouthed and absolutely annoying!”

And that bickering has executives worried about whether they made the right decision in choosing Cyrus as a coach.

“Executives are now second-guessing their decision to bring Miley Cyrus on full time because she cannot get along with Adam to save her life!” added the insider.
