Samsung Adds 3D To Series 7 Gaming Laptop


Samsung‘s Series 7 Gamer laptop is going 3D, with the 17.3 inch screen being refreshed with a “SuperBright” 1920×1080 3D LED display.

3D movie fans will also be able to take advantage of the new display, thanks to the device’s Blu-ray drive, reports CNet, who adds that an AMD Radeon HS 7870M graphics card is also being added into the Series 7 gaming computer, which has been developed specifically for gaming.

Along with a brand new screen, the computer has also been given a new outside color, painted sunny yellow instead of the current darker finish.

The Samsung 3D gaming laptop will include the usual 1-terabyte hard disk, but has and added 128GB solid-state drive for a faster boot up and dual storage.

Maximum PC also notes that the top-notch computer will be equipped with an Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU and comes with three processors.

Samsung is also proud of the Seris 7 Gamer’s battery power and how it performs with the latest heavy-duty games. The computer also comes with a standard 8GM of RAM, but is upgradeable to 16GB.

The Samsung Series 7 Gamer with 3D laptop will be released in Asia on Tuesday at a price of 2,990 won ($2,648 US), but there is no word on when or if the laptop will be expanded to other countries, but a Samsung spokesman stated that the company has no plans to make the new laptop available in the United States at this time.
