Alex Rodriguez Lists Miami Home For $38 Million [Photos]

New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez is reportedly looking to unload his 20,000-square foot Miami Beach home for a whopping $38 million.

The mansion, situated on the Florida Intercoastal, includes nine-bedrooms, 11-bathrooms, a state of the art home movie theater, gym, rooftop deck, an elevator and a 3,000 square-foot sports room complete with a batting cage.

Outside, there’s 275 ft. of water frontage which offers an amazing view of the impressive Miami skyline from either the heated infinity pool or hot tub.

According to the NY Post, A-Rod bought the crib back in 2010 — when he was still dating Cameron Diaz — for a reported $24 mil. It is unknown if Rodriguez, who spends most of the year living in his $6 million New York City condo, ever lived in the Miami pad, as it was still under construction at the time he purchased it.

A-Rod, who has been on the disabled list since July with a broken hand, is in the fifth season of a 10-year, $275 million contract with the Yankees.

The NY Daily writes that the All-Star third baseman will have his hand X-rayed again today, giving him a better expection as to when he will be able to return to action. In the meantime, he’s been throwing and swinging with his right hand, and hitting off a tee and doing soft toss.
