Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani — How He Finally Found The Family Life He Tried To Have With Miranda Lambert

Blake Shelton’s life hasn’t been the same since he got together with Gwen Stefani. Despite going through a rough divorce with Miranda Lambert last summer, the country star has finally found happiness in his new life. With their relationship stronger than ever, will Shelton ask Stefani to marry him in the near future?

Shelton and Stefani first announced their relationship back in November. While fans have witnessed the two grow closer and closer over the last few months, it was only recently that Stefani expressed her love for the country crooner. According to OK! Magazine, Shelton is preparing to respond to her public profession of love by popping the big question.

“Blake could propose to Gwen very soon. Gwen is everything he wants,” an inside source revealed.

Shelton and Lambert were married for a number of years before deciding to call it quits this past summer amidst rumors of infidelity. Despite their long-standing relationship, Shelton and Lambert never had any children together. But with Gwen’s three kids – Zuma, Kingston, and Apollo – Blake gets the family he always wanted.

“With Gwen, Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda. Her kids love him as much as she does,” the insider added. “Blake hasn’t been this happy in years!”

Of course, fans have long suspected that Shelton and Stefani were madly in love. According to Hollywood Life, the two have never been shy about showing their affection in public and on social media. Over the course of the past year, both Shelton and Stefani have shared adorable pictures and video clips online for fans to enjoy, not to mention their PDA on The Voice.

The biggest question remaining centers on when Shelton plans on asking Stefani to be his wife. Considering their love for each other, it’s only a matter of time before Shelton breaks down and pops the big question. That being said, Shelton’s desire to start a family of his own might speed up the marriage process.

According to International Business Times, Stefani is a firm believer in marriage before pregnancy. Although the two have not officially confirmed the reports, the fact that they are reportedly already trying for a baby might equal an early (shotgun?) wedding.

“Gwen still believes you should be married before you have a baby,” a source explained. “They’ve been trying to get pregnant for months, so this would be an absolute dream come true.”

However, there are a few issues that might prevent Blake Shelton from marrying Gwen Stefani, at least in the near future. In fact, Stefani’s divorce with Rossdale has not been finalized, although it was just announced that they had reached a settlement. But without it being final, it would prevent her from legally exchanging vows with Shelton. Until the divorce is officially over and settled, Stefani and Shelton will have to wait to tie the knot.

In the meantime, the two stars have been very busy with their careers in past few weeks. While Shelton continues his run as a judge on The Voice and gears up for the release of his new album, If I’m Honest, Stefani is currently promoting her new album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like. When she opened up in an interview with GQ about the album, Stefani revealed that her break-up with Rossdale and subsequent relationship with Shelton inspired her to create new music.

“I did not think anything. I wasn’t thinking. I was feeling and I was dying. And then I was just like, ‘You can’t go down like this!” Stefani explained. “‘You have to turn this into music. You have to try, at least.’ I was so embarrassed by just everything. I just didn’t want to be that person that just went down after all of that.”
