Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W1 Camera Debuts. Offers Groundbreaking Image Processing

Digital cameras are sooo last week. At least that’s what Fujifilm is hoping with the official release of their new FinePix Real 3D W1 Camera. This very cool gadget offers 3D image processing that brings a whole new level of realism to the user experience.

The 3D W1 is based on the companies “FinePix Real 3D System” which is the first 3D imaging system which allows users to view 3D images and videos without the use of any type of 3D Glasses.

Users can view images on the included 8 inch 3D screen, while also watching 3D movies which can be taken directly from the device.

2D users shouldn’t feel left out however as the device also features traditional digital stills and videos for users who simple can’t let go of standard image output.

Digital prints will also be available via a special service due to the complex nature of printing digital prints. According to Adrian Clarke, Director of Digital Imaging “Fujifilm will be launching a print service to the purchasers of the 3-D camera as a direct service from Fujifilm because of the newness and complexity of the print system”

We don’t know how much we really “need” a 3D print system estimated to cost around $600 (September 2009 release) but we definitely know how much we want one. [special thanks to DPReview]
