Zac Brown Apologizes For Part In Hotel Drug Bust

News recently came out about how Zac Brown was involved in a hotel drug bust, but somehow his name wasn’t released until recently. Radar Online shared that Zac was at a party at a Four Seasons hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, when a drug bust went down. Drugs were found in a car in the parking lot and then they went up to the room where the owners of the car were located. There was also a noise complaint from this room. There were several people in this room, including Zac Brown.

While at the scene, the police found a large amount of cocaine. The report said, “Due to the quantity and individual packaging … I have probable cause to charge Delgado with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell pursuant to F.S.S. 893.13(1)(A).” Arrests were made, but Zac Brown was not one of those arrested.

Now after the news leaked, Zac Brown is speaking out and giving his side of the story. He is denying that he had anything to do with the drugs located there. Radar Online shared what Zac Brown said in his statement.

“My dad always said nothing good ever happens when you stay out late. It’s a lesson I learned the hard way last week, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I attended a private gathering at a Miami-area hotel and had only been there for a short time when police officers arrived and arrested two people in the room who had just showed up a few minutes before. I did not know these people and had no idea that there were drugs in their possession. I cooperated fully with the authorities and am not part of any ongoing police investigation.”

Zac Brown sounds like he was just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. After that, Zac went on to explain that next time he will remember what his dad told him, which is that nothing good ever happens when you stay out late. It doesn’t look like you will hear that he was having a good time with people that he doesn’t know any time in the future. Zac went on to say that he regrets using poor judgment by being in that place and not knowing the people he was there with when this all went down. Right now, Zac Brown is focused on making great music for his fans. This is his priority, and of course, fans love hearing that from Zac.

CMT shared the details that Zac Brown will not face any charges at all in this drug bust. Zac was in town for a charity event when this all went down. He was not arrested or charged with any crimes in this case at all. Zac was also not even mentioned in any of the police reports. Palm Beach Police Capt. Curtis Krauel told the Palm Beach Post newspaper, “We have no indication that Zac Brown was involved in any criminal investigation and that’s why he wasn’t in the police report.” He is very lucky that he was able to stay out of trouble in this case.
