‘Teen Mom 2’ Star, Jenelle Evans Claims She Never Attempted Suicide: Accuses Nathan Griffith Of Lying To Look Better In Court

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has had her share of real-life drama with Nathan Griffith as they prepare to battle it out for custody of 1-year old son, Kaiser. Last weekend, Griffith claimed that in Evans’ lowest point last year, she tried to end her life by slitting her wrist in an attempt to free herself from the emotional pain of their break-up. At the time of the report, her fans reached out and poured out their support for the MTV star.

Jenelle spoke to In Touch Weekly and told them that the report was false. Apparently, according to Evans, she never tried to end her life and accused Nathan of making up stories to look better in court.

“I think it’s from [ex-fiancé] Nathan [Griffith], because our custody battle [for son Kaiser] and the complaints that I have put in are so harsh towards him, that I think he’s coming back with anything against me right now.”

Jenelle and Nathan have had a heated custody battle that has turned ugly. Nathan claimed last week that Jenelle tried to end her life after he ended their engagement, Radar Online reported. Of course, Evans alleges that statement was untrue and accuses her ex of having an ulterior motive for trashing her to the media. According to the Teen Mom 2 star, Griffith’s purpose was to make her look unstable to the court to have some leverage against her in court.

Jenelle reveals that the legal battle with Nathan has turned ugly between them. According to People, Jenelle stated that in an attempt to get to her, Nathan attacks her new beau, David Easton. She had hopes that they could handle the custody dispute like adults, but according to Evans, Griffith is making that nearly impossible.

“It’s just a lot of butting heads right now. I think he’s really not putting all personal issues aside – he’s not making it just about Kaiser. I think he’s really jealous of David. He’s claiming I’m letting Kaiser called David ‘Dada,’ but Kaiser knows David by ‘David’ – I would never do that to Kaiser and I would never do that to Nathan because that’s unfair.”

If that’s not enough drama for Evans, she currently is battling her mother, Barbara, over custody of her 6-year-old son, Jace. Barbara currently has custody of him, but Jenelle is hopeful that a judge will eventually hand over custody of her son back to her.

It wouldn’t come as a huge shocker if Jenelle was having trouble dealing with all the chaos in her life, but she maintains she is handling the stress well. In 2015, Evans was accused of throwing a piece of glass at Nathan’s girlfriend, Jessica Henry. Jenelle now claims that she never threw the glass at Henry and is prepared to go to court to tell the truth “as any Christian would.”

Jenelle was hoping that Nathan and Jessica would drop the assault charges against her, but it doesn’t appear they are willing to let it slide this time.

“I said: ‘Look, if you’re going to be with her for the rest of your life, we all have to get along,’ He doesn’t want to drop it – or he said that she doesn’t feel like she should drop it because ‘no one like me’ should get away it, ‘a person like me’ shouldn’t get away with something like that.”
