Blake Shelton Is Ready To Propose To Gwen Stefani, Will They Wed And Start A Family In 2016?

It’s almost been six months since Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani started their romance and their relationship appears to be as strong as ever. Not only has Shelton won over Stefani, but he’s also gotten along great with her kids. With reports of a wedding on the horizon, will the two exchange vows in 2016 or wait until next year?

An inside source close to the situation told Us Magazine that it’s only a matter of time before Shelton pops the big question. Despite coming off a divorce less than a year ago, Shelton has apparently found everything he desires in Stefani and her family. “Blake could propose to Gwen very soon,” the source shared. “Gwen is everything he wants.”

As fans will recall, Shelton split with Miranda Lambert last July. The two were married for three years before deciding to call it quits, amidst rumors of Lambert being unfaithful. The two did not divulge any details concerning their split. While Shelton and Lambert did not have any kids together, he plans to remedy that by marrying Stefani.

“With Gwen, Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda,” the insider stated. “Her kids love him as much as she does.”

According to The NY Daily News, Stefani had three children during her marriage with Gavin Rossdale. Stefani and Rossdale were together for 13 years and are believed to have separated over a cheating scandal that involved a long-term affair between Rossdale and their children’s nanny. Stefani’s children include Kingston (9), Zuma (7), and Apollo (2).

In addition to taking in Stefani’s children as his own, the source also revealed that Stefani is willing to have more kids with Shelton. However, a few things stand in their way, including her age, 46, and their busy schedules. Stefani is currently in the midst of promoting her newest album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, which is currently crushing the charts.

For his part, Blake Shelton is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album, titled If I’m Honest, which is scheduled for release on May 20. In addition to this new album, Shelton is also working on the current season of The Voice, and he will soon start production for the next season of the hit singing competition, which is scheduled to premiere in the fall.

With so many things on both of their plates, it is unclear when Shelton and Stefani will have the time to get married, let alone start a family. However, considering how much they appear to love each other, it is highly probable that they’ll find the time to marry. Whatever ends up happening, Shelton is doing all he can to impress Stefani’s kids, and so far, it appears as though his attempts have paid off.

In particular, EnStarz is reporting that Shelton has had a lot of influence on Stefani’s oldest son, Kingston. In a recent public sighting, Kingston was seen wearing a cowboy ensemble complete with Western fringe, blue jeans and boots. Of course, this is Shelton’s typical look whenever he comes out on the red carpet.

Kingston was spotted with his mom and the rest of his brothers during the outing. The family was running some errands in the Los Angeles area when cameras caught Kingston’s impression of Shelton. Although the country crooner was not with Stefani and her boys, Kingston’s attire was definitely inspired by his mother’s new romance.

Meanwhile, neither Shelton nor Stefani have addressed the rumors of a coming wedding. Considering their busy schedule, it’s unclear if they will tie the knot this year or wait until things settle down. While fans wait for more news to surface, they can catch Shelton in action during this season of The Voice, Monday nights on NBC.
