George Soros Gets Engaged To Tamiko Bolton

George Soros is ready to get married again. The 82-year-old billionaire recently got engaged to 40-year-old Tamiko Bolton.

This will be Soros’ third marriage.

The NY Post reports that Soros, who is the seventh-richest person in America with a fortune of approximately $22 billion, announced his engagement to his family at his 82nd birthday party in Southampton, New York. Reuters reports that Soros proposed a few weeks ago but didn’t tell his family until this weekend.

Reuters reports that Soros has been married twice and has five children. The 82-year-old billionaire was married to Annaliese Witschak in 1960. The couple had three children together before divorcing in 1983. He then wed Susan Weber Soros and has another two children. They divorced in 2005.

Soros’ love life was made public last year when a former girlfriend sued the billionaire for reneging on an expensive promise. Adriana Ferreyr said that Soros promised to buy her a luxury apartment in Manhattan but never came through with the money. Soros filed a counter his own motion to dismiss the lawsuit.

At 82-years-old, and a wedding on the way, there will be plenty of talk about what happens to Soros’ fortune. According to Soros’ attorney William D. Zabel, the billionaire will be giving the majority of his wealth to charity.

Zabel said: “It is well known that Mr. Soros will leave the bulk of his estate to charity but he intends to provide generously for his wife.”
