Miranda Lambert Prepares For New Songs And May Be Ready To Marry Boyfriend Anderson East?

Miranda Lambert is currently working on a number of new songs for her upcoming album, and according to a report, that may not be all she’s up to.

In addition to her new album, could the 32-year-old country singer be planning for a wedding? Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have only been dating for about five months, but marriage may be in their future.

On April 13, Hollywood Life shared a report, claiming a recent report alleged that Miranda Lambert wanted to beat her ex-husband, Blake Shelton, to the altar. Although Shelton and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, have not announced plans to wed, rumors have been swirling and Miranda Lambert reportedly wants to ensure she becomes East’s wife before Stefani becomes Shelton’s.

“[Miranda Lambert] and Anderson have a crazy-strong connection,” a source told In Touch Weekly magazine, assuring readers that “an engagement announcement will be coming soon.”

Miranda Lambert and East have “been ring shopping,” the source said. “They are planning to get married before the end of the year. [Miranda Lambert] has even talked about a date in early fall, right after she finishes her extensive concert tour.”

The source went on to claim Miranda Lambert’s desire to wait to wed her ex-husband Shelton should have been a red flag, as with East, things are much different.

“[Miranda Lambert] knows what she wants and she wants Anderson. It just feels right, so why wait?” the source asked.

As Miranda Lambert reportedly prepares to tell the word about her alleged engagement, she has revealed plans for a new album, which is sure to be a telling tale of her dramatic year.

“I’ve spent a lot, a lot, a lot of time writing lately,” Miranda Lambert revealed to The Guardian at the end of March. “I’ve had more time than I’ve ever had, so I’ve been able to write every day. I think I’ve been more honest – to myself, even. Not being afraid to lay it all out there. As I’ve gotten older I’ve laid it out there less at times in my career but now I’m just like, ‘Here it is, here’s my story.'”

At the time of her interview with The Guardian, Miranda Lambert was in London.

Miranda Lambert and Shelton parted ways in July 2015 after four years of marriage. In November, he moved on with Stefani, whom he was currently starring alongside on Season 9 of The Voice. One month later, Miranda Lambert’s romance with East was reported, but it wasn’t until January of this year that the pair officially debuted their relationship on Instagram.

Since Miranda Lambert’s split from Shelton, there have been many reports claiming the former couple is at war, and others that claim Miranda Lambert is feuding with Stefani. However, there doesn’t appear to be any substantial evidence of any such feuds. In fact, the two women have interacted with one another on Twitter since Shelton and Stefani’s romance debut, and a recent source told E! News Miranda Lambert was happy that her former partner found love with Stefani.

The same source revealed just how serious Miranda Lambert was about her new relationship.

“They have met both sides of their families. Both their families love what they have,” the source explained. “They seem like they are in such a great place. They spend so much time together. They are also very involved with [Miranda Lambert]’s animals. That’s a big part of her life and Anderson is a huge animal lover.”
