Blake Lively Baby: Expecting Second Child With Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively might be pregnant with baby number two. And, if so, husband Ryan Reynolds — Mr. Deadpool, himself — couldn’t be more thrilled.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are back in parental headlines as they’re allegedly expecting their second baby. According to Vanity Fair, Lively was reportedly on the movie set of The Shallows when she was photographed in a baby-revealing outfit. Specifically, Us Weekly mentioned that she was definitely “showing off her baby bump” in a wet suit. However, the celebrity news source admits that it’s no “baby bump” expert.

Yet Inquisitr previously reported that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were trying for baby number two. E! Online mentions that a source talked about Blake and Ryan’s baby excitement. E! Online‘s source mentioned that Blake Lively “always wanted to have two or three kids.”

As mentioned, this isn’t Blake and Ryan’s first. Lively and Reynolds had their first child, daughter James, in December 2014. Like this instance, Vanity Fair also reported on their previous baby date. Accordingly, James was born near their Bedford-New York home. Via Twitter, Ryan Reynolds let the world in on the first baby’s birth date. He stated as follows.

“Happy birthday to my baby girl! Sad I lost my virginity. But thankful I have a daughter.”

Interestingly enough, MTV News mentioned that Ryan — if he’d had a son — would’ve name his baby boy “Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds.” The public is no stranger to Reynolds’ special brand of Deadpool-type humor.

Blake Lively’s husband explained in a Huffington Post Live interview that he doesn’t exactly care for milking parenthood in the public’s eye. Instead, he prefers to go against the grain and make jokes about his kids. In the interview, Reynolds stated as follows.

“I just find it funny — everybody thinks their son or daughter is God’s gift to air, and in their home, they are. I mean, when I’m [in my house], I look at my daughter and I’m like, ‘You are the most amazing creature I’ve ever seen in my life’. But that’s sort of annoying when you do that publicly, so I usually kind of go the other way with it. I’ll write silly jokes about how my daughter is terrible at her art or whatever.”

MTV News mentions that, if Blake Lively and Reynolds are pregnant with baby number two, James will finally have someone with which to “share the humiliation.” However, the public probably won’t know much about the second baby’s birth, because Lively and Ryan are extremely private regarding their personal lives. Reynolds will get on Twitter every once in a while to joke about James, but serious family matters tend to stay in-house. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds ensured that the public didn’t know James’ birthday until a year later, right?

Nonetheless, as far as entertainment is concerned, Blake Lively’s new movie pins her role of Nancy. In a nutshell, Lively’s character gets attacked by a great white shark as she was surfing alone. Blake’s “Nancy” character is then stranded approximately 200 yards from shore, reports Internet Movie Database (IMDb). Like the movie’s byline notes, “What was once in the deep is now in the shallows.”

According to IMDb, Lively’s new movie was shot in three Australian locations.

1. Gold Coast, Queensland
2. Oxenford, Queensland
3. Lord Howe, New South Wales

The projected release date for Blake Lively’s The Shallow is June 24 for the United States. Lively’s movie will be released in France two days earlier — as Instinct de survie: The Shallows — and in Spain on the same day as the U.S., as Infierno Azul. Likewise, it will release worldwide on June 24 and various dates thereafter.
