Former ‘RHONY’ Star Cindy Barshop Is Angry With Sonja Morgan

Cindy Barshop only filmed one season of The Real Housewives of New York before she was fired and the cast was changed completely. Even though Barshop did have some issues with the veteran cast, including Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, it wasn’t enough to keep her on the show and keep things interesting. It has been several years since Cindy was on the show and she was working hard on launching her very own series of salons, called the Completely Bare spas, and she added hair removal products.

According to a new Bravo report, Cindy Barshop is now revealing that things have changed since she left The Real Housewives of New York. She’s still working in the beauty industry, as she has rebranded her Completely Bare chain. She’s now calling her business Spruce & Bond and she has managed to get a brand new management team. Plus, Cindy Barshop is still raising her twins, Jesse and Zoe. While she hasn’t been filming The Real Housewives of New York for years, it sounds like she still has some connections to the cast.

It sounds like Barshop still has a problem with Sonja Morgan. She supposedly invited Sonja to the opening of one of her spas, and Morgan even said she would come. But then she ended up ditching the party without giving Barshop any notice.

“I invited her in to the spa — well, my publicist did — and she says she’s coming in, and then she did a ghost on me, didn’t show up,” Cindy said about her anger towards Sonja.

But it doesn’t end there. Apparently, Cindy Barshop learned that Sonja was going to another spa, when the newest trailer of The Real Housewives of New York aired this spring. Cindy doesn’t know whether Morgan visited this spa before or after she sent out her invitation, but she remains offended by her former friend for not showing her any support in the matter.

“I’m really good friends with Jules Wainstein, so I’m here to support her. I’m very happy for her. And hopefully, everything’s gonna go great. I know her kids. Our kids went to school together. And Dorinda Medley, I’ve gotten to know, and she’s great. Luann de Lesseps and I have reconnected, so I’m all happy about that,” Cindy Barshop reveals about the current cast, adding, “You know what? I was so happy for her [to join RHONY] because Jules is a real housewife. When she has a party, it’s to the top. And she does a performance, and that’s naturally what she does,” she said. “So I think it’s going to be an awesome season. I’m psyched for everybody.”

Barshop didn’t share whether she would ever go back on The Real Housewives of New York but it sounds like she’s keeping her former co-stars close, just in case a spot should open for her to come back on the show. And she may have an interesting life to share, as she remains a hard-working mother to her twins, Jesse and Zoe.

“Everything’s good. My kids are fabulous. They’re six, they’re happy, and they’re loving life,” Cindy has revealed about her children. She’s shared a few pictures on Instagram of her children and they are clearly growing up quickly.

After Barshop left The Real Housewives of New York, she made headlines for making bad investments in regards to her business ventures. According to Reality Tea, Cindy supposedly opened too many stores right before going on the show, but she had to close them because she didn’t make enough money. The report hints that Barshop had hoped that she would bond with Jill Zarin, who would help put her on the map, but that never happened. When she left the show, she hadn’t built a huge platform.
