Luann de Lesseps Is Shocked: ‘Once She Stops Talking To You She Starts Talking About You’
Luann de Lesseps is back for another season of The Real Housewives of New York and she came into this season with very little drama compared to previous seasons. Last year, de Lesseps was very angry with Carole Radziwill, as she started dating Adam Kentworthy, her personal chef. Luann felt very betrayed by her co-star, because Adam had dated her niece and she felt that her co-star wasn’t respecting her personal boundaries. Over the following months, de Lesseps tried to give various reasons why she was upset, including their age gap, the fact that he was “the help,” and his relationship with her niece.
According to a new Bravo report, Luann de Lesseps is now learning that many of her co-stars have issues with her — issues that are not related to the drama last year. As it turns out, her Real Housewives of New York co-stars believe that she’s very judgmental when it comes to the other ladies and the men they are dating. And yet, she’s been accused of dating various men at once, sleeping with guys she’s just met, dating younger men, and even hooking up with them in random bathrooms.
“As I watched this episode and heard what some of the ladies had to say about me, it became apparent which girls are my true friends and which are not. With Bethenny, once she stops talking to you, she starts talking about you. She’s obviously been drinking the Carole Kool-Aid. Mae West said it best, ‘Ladies who play with fire must remember that smoke gets in their eyes,'” Luann de Lesseps explained about her friendship with both Bethenny Frankel and Carole.
Of course, Luann and Carole aren’t really speaking these days, as de Lesseps didn’t really agree with Radziwill’s relationship with Adam. She didn’t like how Carole was putting her relationship first either, something that has been brought up by Bethenny. But while Luann decided to pass plenty of judgment on Carole and Adam for their relationship, it sounds like she’s not happy with the other ladies for judging her decisions to hook up with guys. And de Lesseps claims that Carole is only judging because Frankel is pushing her to do so.
“Carole can’t pass up the chance to judge me, and she has crawled so far up Bethenny’s anus that she can’t hear me saying that I wish her and Adam all the best. The reality is that I’m happy if they are happy. I’m busy with my own life, and I don’t spend time focusing on them. As for her making a Luann ‘pros and cons’ list, grow up! At least I’m honest about who I am and what I do. I apologize when I’m wrong and move on. I’m not a person who dwells in the past. My best friends know that I say what I mean and I mean what I say,” Luann de Lesseps points out in her Bravo blog.
It is very interesting that Luann is so vocal about her dislike for Carole, especially since the two haven’t had a relationship in quite a while. One can imagine that Adam stopped working for de Lesseps when he got serious with Radziwill. Plus, Luann seems to have a problem with Bethenny, who supposedly starts talking about you once she stops talking to you. And it is very possible that these two ladies aren’t invited to Luann’s upcoming wedding to her new flame, Thomas. According to Radar Online, de Lesseps is already dishing details about her upcoming nuptials.
