Courteney Cox’s daughter Coco is a matchmaker. Coco reportedly helped the Friends actress get back together with Londonderry-born musician Johnny McDaid, according to the Indian Express.

Courteney Cox and McDaid were engaged in June 2014, and broke up in December 2015 amid reports of differences of opinion over where the family would live. Fame and the degree of their exposure in the media also reportedly became issues that forced the couple to call the relationship off.
But recently, after the two were spotted together at Easter, they fueled speculation that they had reunited. According to sources close to Courteney Cox, 11-year-old daughter Coco begged her mom to give McDaid a second chance.
“Coco was gutted when her mom split from Johnny so she’s been playing Cupid ever since.”

And apparently it was Coco who got Courteney Cox and McDaid together over Easter to “talk things out,” and that’s when they reportedly realized that there is still “a lot of love between them,” the source said, adding that they seem to be ready to give their relationship a second chance.
Courteney Cox and McDaid were photographed together for the first time since their December break up in late March on Easter in Malibu, California, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
The Belfast Telegraph reported that, according to OK magazine’s source, Courteney Cox may still give their relationship a second shot by spending more time in Ireland.
“A permanent move is off the table. But Courteney is willing to spend more time in Ireland to make the relationship work. At this point, she’ll bend over backward to make Johnny happy.”
The source also added that being away from McDaid for four months made Courteney Cox realize how much she missed him. The two were previously photographed shopping together in Hollywood after they enjoyed a dinner date at Craig’s.
Another person dining at Craig’s said that Courteney Cox and McDaid ordered wine and pizza and looked “so happy together.” According to the Friends star’s representative, the two “really care” about each other and they have been spending time together, which is a good thing for their possible reignited romance, as reported by Us Magazine.
As it could be seen from photographs taken in August 2015, four months before calling their relationship off, Courteney Cox and McDaid looked happy. And in September last year, the 51-year-old actress tweeted a sweet photo of McDaid giving her a kiss on the forehead. McDaid proposed to Courteney Cox in June 2014. He dropped down on one knee at a birthday party for Coco held at the home of Cox’s pal Jennifer Aniston in Los Angeles. The Snow Patrol rocker even asked Coco’s permission before popping the question.
During her September 2014 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Aniston told Kimmel that McDaid gave Courteney Cox a diamond ring and got on his knee. And Cox’s reaction was, “Great! Let’s do it right now!”
Courteney Cox and McDaid praised one another in their interview with Us Magazine in December 2013. The Friends star revealed that McDaid always supported her “in every way.”
“He supports me creatively. He really believed in the movie… and not just because he likes me, though I know that helps.”
Meanwhile, McDaid said Courteney Cox was the most “completely confident” person at everything he had ever met. He went on to explain that Cox gets music, art, and shooting in movies. He added that his then-girlfriend gathered all this knowledge and then made movies that make people “laugh and cry, squirm and jump, all those things.”
McDaid was Courteney Cox’s first boyfriend since the 2013 breakup with Coco’s father, David Arquette, after 13 years of marriage.
