Are Gigi Hadid And Zayn Malik Engaged After Just Months Of Dating?
Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend, former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, may be taking their romance to the next level.
Just months into their relationship, the model is said to be engaged.
On April 13, Hollywood Life shared a report claiming Gigi Hadid may be preparing to wed Malik, but so far, there has been no official statement made by either party in regard to the rumor. There has, however, been another report about the possibility, which came just one day prior. At the same time, a source claims Gigi Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Foster, isn’t on board with a potential engagement.

“Zayn has been talking very openly over the past couple of months about [Gigi Hadid] being The One and Yolanda is terrified that he’s going to pop the questions to her daughter, who has been really swept away by the romance,” a source told Reveal Magazine, via a report by The Mirror on April 12.
“[Gigi Hadid] is really torn because her mum has made it clear that she is to stop any talk of them getting engaged now, and make sure Zayn gets the message,” the source explained.
According to the report, Foster, of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is said to be “wary” of Malik’s relationship past and wants him and Gigi Hadid to pump the brakes.
“Her view is that [Gigi Hadid] should give Zayn a year’s trial to make sure he really is the right man for her. And only then should they even start thinking about taking the next big step,” the source explained.
Gigi Hadid was first linked to Malik last fall, but the pair quickly became serious and have been spotted all over the world together — despite their busy schedules. As fans likely know, Gigi Hadid is one of today’s top models and in addition to frequenting runways around the globe, she’s also been busy with a number of fashion campaigns. Meanwhile, Malik has just released his first solo album.

At the end of last month, Gigi Hadid teamed up for an amazing set of photos for Vogue Magazine (see above), and while speaking of the photos, Gigi Hadid gushed over her boyfriend’s on-set behavior and good looks.
“I wish I could be on set with him every day. It doesn’t feel like work when he’s there,” Gigi Hadid revealed to E! News during her appearance at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. “It was really fun. We had the best time. It was an adventure to go where we shot it.”
Gigi Hadid’s pictorial with Malik was shot in Naples, Italy.
“He is a very good model. He’s so naturally good looking. The problem is he can do anything, he can change his hair color a million times and looks great. He doesn’t need much help,” Gigi Hadid explained.
Gigi Hadid and Malik had a great time while shooting for Vogue, and just months prior, they worked together on the musical for one of Malik’s latest singles off of his album, Pillowtalk.
“It was fun for us. We just started dating. It’s cute to look back. We were into each other and flirting the whole day,” Gigi Hadid recalled.
Prior to dating Malik, Gigi Hadid was involved in a years-long on-and-off romance with singer Cody Simpson before briefly dating Joe Jonas last year. Malik, on the other hand, was previously engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, but their engagement ended last year.
