‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Major Season 7 Spoilers Revealed On Official Social Media Accounts

Editor’s note: Skybound Entertainment has reached out to the Inquisitr and informed us that the Instagram post in no way provides spoilers for Season 7 of The Walking Dead television series.

Anyone and everyone that is a fan of The Walking Dead has their primary focus on Negan and who he is actually going to kill. He swung Lucille with mighty force and connected with numerous blows to someone, but no-one will know who it is until Season 7. Now though, the attention has shifted as official social media accounts may have actually revealed some serious spoilers for Season 7, and all because it is National Pet Day.

Please let it be known that there are possible SPOILERS ahead for Season 6, the upcoming Season 7, and the comic book of The Walking Dead. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.

Even though Negan is going to be offing someone in Season 7, a situation that Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) says is “gut-wrenching,” there is likely someone else arriving.

It is National Pet Day, and ComicBook noticed that The Walking Dead from Skybound — the official account representing The Walking Dead comics — hopped on Facebook and Instagram to celebrate. When they did it, they posted a picture of the character of Ezekiel and his pet tiger, Shiva.

Happy #nationalpetday! Hope you love your pet today as much as Ezekiel loves Shiva ????????????

Now, these are two characters from the comics who have not yet appeared on the TV show. This post on Facebook and Instagram originally said, “You’ll get to meet Ezekiel and Shiva soon enough!” but has since been changed.

On Instagram, things were taken a step further and a since deleted post even said that fans would be meeting the characters in Season 7 of The Walking Dead television series.

It may be needless to say, but this ended up driving the hordes of fans of The Walking Dead insane because it was information from a rather official social media account. Once the posts were deleted, there was even more reason for them to believe that Ezekiel and Shiva would be coming in Season 7 of the TV series.

In the comics for The Walking Dead, Ezekiel is the leader of The Kingdom and is a huge part of the storyline. That has yet to transfer to the TV series, but it could be coming soon, and the posts today made fans think so even more.

Now, many spoilers and rumors fill the internet daily for almost everything, especially for The Walking Dead. Some are taken seriously and others are cast aside to mean nothing, but the showrunners and social media account runners don’t usually say anything about it.

Well, the team of those working for Robert Kirkman‘s Skybound saw the info about Ezekiel and Shiva making the rounds, and decided to say something about it. They actually reached out to Cinema Blend and gave word about the situation.

“…the since deleted social media posts in question weren’t made by someone with foreknowledge of what’s going to happen during Season 7 of The Walking Dead.”

It really isn’t known if Ezekiel, Shiva, and The Kingdom will become part of the storyline in Season 7 of The Walking Dead, but it appears as if its coming soon.

Maybe this was a way of getting the focus off of Negan and what he may do and who he may kill. Maybe it was a way of starting rumors and getting people excited during the six-month drought. Maybe it was truly a mistake or something that was never meant to be posted. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s nothing.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead is a good half a year away, but fans can’t stop thinking about it and what Negan may possibly do. Of course, showrunners are not going to let anything solid be known until it happens on the show. The only thing these spoilers have done is make people even more anxious.
