Leonardo DiCaprio Finds New Love With Model Chelsey Weimar

For most people, the Victoria’s Secret catalog and website are about the products, lingerie, and undergarments meant to enhance romance, but it seems Leonardo DiCaprio has the wrong idea. Apparently, Victoria’s Secret is where The Revenant star turns when he’s looking for a new lover. In the past, DiCaprio had been linked to Gisele Bündchen, Bar Refaeli, and Erin Heatherton and now reports are linking Leo to another Victoria’s Secret angel, Chelsey Weimer.

Chelsey Weimer Catches Leonardo DiCaprio’s Eye

Making the news that DiCaprio and Weimer may be a couple that much more spicier is the fact that the Victoria’s Secret model is just 19-years-old, making her a little more than 20 years younger than Leo. While the more mature female celebrities of Hollywood have made great strides in taking the stigma away from May-December romances, it seems the same can’t be said of older men dating younger women. Yet, the very idea that this type of relationship is still taboo doesn’t seem to be giving DiCaprio a reason to pause in the slightest, nor should it. Love knows no bounds.

While DiCaprio and Weimer haven’t been seen out and about much, other than one sighting, as the couple left Nobu Malibu, other indications prove that Chelsey and Leo are spending far more time together than it would seem at first glance. Many of Weimer’s Instagram posts show her posting images of herself posing in rooms that Page Six sources state are within DiCaprio’s Los Angeles properties.

Currently, little is known about Ms. Weimer, as she is fairly new to the Hollywood spotlight. Previously, Chelsey rose to fame on Holland’s own version of The Face, winning the prize on that reality show at the age of 15.

In spite of the rumors, a spokesperson for Mr. DiCaprio insists the actor and activist is far too busy to entertain any hopes for a committed relationship.

“He isn’t spending time with anyone. Most of his time lately has been in places like Indonesia, trying to help save the ecosystem.”

The Revenant Star Leonardo DiCaprio Learns His Conservation Efforts Are Starting To Pay Off

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation has been working together with the World Wildlife Fund and the Global Tiger Forum to help save tigers from becoming extinct and now, for the first time in a century, the groups have reported that their efforts have paid off and the world’s tiger population is actually on the rise. Much of the credit goes to DiCaprio’s foundation for funneling as much as $6.2 million into the conservation of tigers, since 2010.

In 2010, the world tiger population was down to 3,200, but it has now been reported that there are 3,890 tigers across 13 countries. Activists concerned for the animals hope to see those numbers doubled by 2022.

“Tigers are some of the most vital and beloved animals on Earth,” The Revenant‘s DiCaprio said in a statement. “With our partners at WWF, my Foundation has supported major efforts to double the number of tigers in the wild. In Nepal, our efforts have produced one of the greatest areas of progress in tiger conservation, which is helping drive this global increase in population.”

Leonardo also said that while he is proud of this progress, there’s much more to be done in the conservation of these animals. DiCaprio voiced hopes that governments, communities, conservationists, and private foundations can continue to come together to help change the ways our civilizations are affecting the environment and wildlife. While the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation was busy raising over $40 million for continued conservation efforts, DiCaprio himself was off visiting Indonesia, where he met with local conservationists and also enjoyed the company of the country’s local elephants and orangutans.

Leonardo toured much of the country in an effort to help raise awareness about deforestation while there’s still time to enact measures to prevent further decline.
