Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Romance Ruined By Kourtney Kardashian & Charlie Puth? Taylor Swift Vetoes Jelena

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez recently seemed to be reuniting once again, and it was joy for Jelena (Justin + Selena) fans. The renewal of their romance began when he posted a photo showing him passionately kissing Gomez, with the word “Feels.” Selena apparently was feeling it too, because she responded “perfect.” The social media excitement over their hint of rekindled romance went into overdrive when Gomez attended Bieber’s concert, reported E! News.

Selena didn’t just show up at Justin’s Purpose World Tour concert. Gomez also spent time backstage with Bieber, which caused Jelena watchers to get even more hopeful. So is it totally back on for the lovebirds?

Although Selena and her erstwhile boyfriend are “talking” about the possibility of rekindling their romance, they are both immersed in their music right now, a source told E! News. But the couple is supportive of each other, and the social media sightings don’t lie.

As evidenced by that passionate throwback photo, Justin has been thinking a lot about Selena recently, and Gomez cares just as much for her ex, revealed the source about their mutual affection. And Selena experienced an “amazing” time with him at the concert.

“[Selena and Justin] looked genuinely comfortable together. They both looked really happy.”

What happened to turn that delight for Jelena watchers into feeling baffled by the Biebs? Several factors were reportedly at play, with Kourtney Kardashian, the 36-year-old mom of three from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, one of those issues that sidetracked the rekindling of Selena’s romance with Bieber.

Kourtney has been hooking up with the “Sorry” singer for months, starting soon after she split from baby daddy Scott Disick last summer. Kardashian attempted to refute the reports, but multiple sources confirmed the hookup between Kourtney and Justin, pointed out Wonderwall.

“Justin bragged to friends recently that he has been hooking up with Kourtney Kardashian,” revealed one source.

“Oh, yeah, that’s definitely happening and has been for some time now…Every time Kourtney and Justin are together they’re extremely flirtatious. They text each other all the time,” confirmed another insider.

The hookup began in October and heated up from there, including a sighting of Kardashian exiting Bieber’s hotel at 4 a.m. However, it’s all described as a casual hookup rather than serious.

“He’s single, she’s single and they’re just having a good time,” explained another insider.

But Selena may not view it with the same relaxed attitude. Gomez is upset that the Biebs hasn’t ended his romance with Kourtney as he promised, according to sources cited by Hollywood Life.

“Justin promised Selena he was going to end his relationship with Kourtney, but he hasn’t done it yet. He told Selena she needed to be patient,” revealed one insider.

Moreover, Gomez and Bieber both want to take control of the relationship, causing even more of a clash, another source revealed.

“[Selena and Justin] keep playing mind games with each other because they both want to wear the pants when it comes to a relationship. As much as they want things to happen again, it’s easier to play these games.”

And there’s another factor, which is Charlie Puth, who is hooking up with Selena, according to Us Weekly.

“I don’t know if anyone really understands me,” reflected Charlie. “Which is why I hang out with Selena Gomez. She gets me.”

However, just as with Kourtney and Justin, an insider told Us that the hookup between Gomez and Puth isn’t really serious.

“It’s not serious, but she’s super into him,” clarified the insider, although one of Gomez’s friends described it as a “flirty friendship.”

And there’s another element as well, which is Selena’s best friend Taylor Swift. Taylor has been urging Gomez to break up with Justin for years, according to ET.

Swift even appeared to sass Bieber after his recent iHeartRadio Music Awards performance. Taylor gave one polite clap of her hands and then quickly focused on her drink while looking in the opposite direction.

As to whether the Biebs is aware of how Swift feels? Definitely, and he blames Taylor for his recent split with Gomez, according to Hollywood Life’s source.

“He blames Taylor for some of his issues with Selena and that will never go away,” revealed the source.
