Are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt getting married this weekend? If reports are correct, it looks like the pair could be saying ‘I do’ during the weekend in France, just one of the places they call home.
In fact, many reports are saying that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will be getting married in France at their private home. According to the Daily Mail, guests for the event including Pitt’s parents have already started to arrive at the Chateau Miraval as the beginning festivities are underway for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s secret wedding. Robert Procop, who was the man behind Jolie’s $250,000 diamond engagement ring, and actor and mutual pal George Clooney are both expected to attend the event.
Some naysayers have said that this event isn’t Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s wedding, but in fact Brad’s parents Bill and Jane’s 50th wedding anniversary. However, locals around the neighborhood are suspect and think this is the perfect cover for the wedding everyone has been waiting for.
The press in France are already on top of the wedding coverage and even went as far as to report that Pitt and Jolie will tie the knot on Saturday, according to USA Today. A source told a France 3 Cote d’Azur TV station that, “Everyone in town is talking about it. In Correns (a small village near Miraval), it’s common knowledge that the wedding is happening soon.”
According to The Sun newspaper, “Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they’re all here now.” While nothing is completely confirmed, it is said that Angelina and Brad will marry in a private chapel on the grounds of their $55 million home. Construction was said to have been started in February for the event for a reception hall and a large while building next to the said chapel.
This wedding will be the third wedding for Angelina Jolie, who has previously married Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thorton. For Brad Pitt, this will be the second marriage. The actor was famously married to Jennifer Aniston for five years until he met Angelina on the set of their 2005 action hit Mr & Mrs. Smith. The couple have been together for seven years and share six children together.
