Twitterverse Explodes After Samuel L. Jackson Trolls A Random Guy For A Really Random Tweet

We all have our bad days on Twitter when we are trolled by random guys on the micro-blogging site.

But while most of us try to get over it with a bite of our favorite evening snack, or a cup of cappuccino, Samuel L. Jackson does not think that is the best way to get over his Twitter blues. So what does The Hateful Eight star do?

He hits back at those random guys on Twitter.

Samuel L. Jackson is very active on Twitter, boasting more than 5 million followers. With such a large fan-base, one would expect him to not have the time, or the patience, to reply to random tweets. But as it turns out, Jackson does not take lightly to being trolled, as was evident in a recent Twitter exchange he had with a man called Jeff Harris, according to Perez Hilton.

On Sunday afternoon, poor guy Harris — with a total of 46 followers on Twitter — got on the bad side of Jackson when he sent out this fairly innocuous tweet, which said that an actor of Jackson’s caliber should have not done a movie like Snakes on a Plane.

Fair enough, right?

Samuel L. Jackson did not think so. Not only did he reply to Harris’ tweet, he even took out time to research about the guy before actually trolling him.

Sorry Jeff!

Predictably, in the aftermath of the hilarious exchange, Twitterverse exploded with a stream of reactions from Jackson’s followers. The humor was not lost on them.

Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson has not been busy only trolling people on Twitter. He was present at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards to present Movie of the Year award along with True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard, who attended the event without any pants, according to the National Post.

“You’re not wearing any pants,” Jackson asked Skarsgard onstage. “Why?”

“Me Tarzan. Gotta give the fans a little skin,” Skarsgard said. “I was going to go shirtless, but then someone told me Zac Efron did that two years ago here.”

The remark made by Skarsgard refers to David Yates’ The Legend of Tarzan, which stars Skarsgard in the title role, while Jackson plays the role of George Washington Williams in the movie. The movie is set to release in July this year, and is already being touted as a potential blockbuster.

Not only did Skarsgard no-pants act draw a large audience to the televised version of MTV Awards, but also gave a head start to the publicity of his upcoming movie, which will be in full swing in the weeks and months to follow.

Unlike the Academy Awards, MTV recognizes more popular movies, and so it was no surprise that the golden popcorn went to J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens, who was honored with the entire audience waving light sabers as he went onstage, reports New York Daily News.

Samuel L. Jackson certainly had a good time presenting the award, as he did when he trolled the poor guy on Twitter later. Overall, a terrific weekend!
