Anna Duggar Breaks Her Silence: Speaks About Her Relationship With The Duggar Family, Her Marriage With Josh Duggar, And What The Future Holds

After months of being silent, Anna Duggar decided to break her silence about the Ashley Madison cheating scandal that rocked her marriage to Josh Duggar. Previous to the sex scandal, she thought they had a good relationship and wasn’t aware that her devoted husband was cheating on her. Imagine her surprise, when his name was released as one of the public figures that had several Ashley Madison accounts. From that moment, her life spiralled out of control and just recently has returned to some level of normalcy.

The Hollywood Gossip reported that Anna finally spoke out about how she dealt with the ultimate betrayal of her husband Josh’s cheating scandal. With tears in her eyes, Anna relived the moment she learned of Josh’s affair and explained it was the moment that almost shattered their once strong marriage.

“It just seemed like a bad dream, it didn’t seem possible and I just thought, I’m gonna wake up and everything is going to be okay and this really can’t be true.It was definitely a hard thing and I think it is such a betrayal for a spouse to go through.”

Enstarz reported that yesterday, Josh’s sister Jinger posted a controversial picture of 4-year-old Michael in a the backseat of the car. Jinger’s intent when posting the super cute image was innocent, but the Duggar fans (and some haters too) slammed Jinger for allowing the young child to ride in the car without a proper booster seat. The fans were not kind to Jinger, stating that she was irresponsible and was neglecting the preschooler.

Even though Jinger received fan backlash, Anna and Josh remained silent and never showed their support for her or tried to stand up for her. It isn’t that much of a surprise, though, that they didn’t offer any emotional support after Josh was allegedly ignored in the video the family released on National Sibling Day. It isn’t apparent if the Duggars intentionally cut Josh out of the video or it was an oversight. However, being ousted by the famous family has to be painful.

To say that Anna has had a tough year with Josh would be a massive understatement. Not only was Josh outed as one of the celebrities with an Ashley Madison account, but it came out that he molested his sisters when he was a teenager and allegedly sexually assaulted a porn star during a rendezvous with her. Don’t forget that Anna was also pregnant with her fourth child at the time. Even so, Anna was determined to make sure her marriage didn’t crumble and held on to the fact that Josh would return from the Christian-centered rehab center a changed man.

“I respect other people’s views, but in my heart, when I got married, I vowed to God first and then to Joshua, for better or for worse, till death do we part. My prayer and my heart’s desire is for our marriage is to be restored.”

Anna has said on multiple occasions that she was dedicated to repairing her union with Josh Duggar and hoped her fans would respect that. In all the sex scandal mess, Anna Duggar has never once mentioned that she was considering divorce her husband over his sexual addiction. Even though the situation would difficult for Anna, the Duggar wife believes that they will come out stronger in the end.
