Lolo Jones is one of the world’s most famous virgins (though she’s a pretty good athlete too). In a recent interview, Lolo revealed that carrying the V-card is a lonely venture and that she still wants to meet Tim Tebow, if only just to commiserate with him over their shared purity.

At age 30, Lolo has admitted that hanging on to her V-card has been the hardest thing she’s ever done — harder, even, than training for the Olympics. Nevertheless, it’s something she is proud of, which reminds us of another famous virgin — former Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. Lolo’s virgin-status also puts her in a unique (possibly oblivious) position among her track and field teammates. Though rampant rumors suggest that the Olympic Village is a sex-infested orgy den, Lolo has said that this is not so (though she could be covering for them, notes YardBarker).

“I’m in a suite with seven girls, and I guess we don’t have any sluts on the team,” she says. “I haven’t seen any hookups. I’m sure it’s going on, though, but I haven’t heard any juicy details yet.”

Maybe Lolo just isn’t paying attention. Women’s soccer icon Hope Solo sees sex everywhere she goes, according to Larry Brown Sports.

“There’s a lot of sex going on,” Solo said. “With a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you want to build memories, whether it’s sexual, partying or on the field,” she continued. “I’ve seen people having sex right out in the open. On the grass, between buildings, people are getting down and dirty,” concluding, “If you don’t have discipline, the village can be a huge distraction.”

In any case, Lolo revealed that her post-Olympic plans still hinge on a desire to meet football player Tim Tebow. “You always think you’re the last virgin on earth,” she explained. “I respect his journey, and any virgin I just love talking to them and sharing the journey and the frustration.”

While we personally don’t think that Lolo Jones and Tim Tebow are looking to make a love-connection, we have to admit that stranger things have happened.
