South Africa’s Problems Worsen As Guptas Depart, White Millionaires Continue to Leave Country And ANC Losing Support

As South Africa continues to face white genocide, an economic downgrade, and a weak economy, as well as weak South African Rand, the Gupta family departed South Africa. Ajay and Atul Gupta resigned from the Oakbay Resources and Energy. This was after accusations were made that they had used cabinet positions in the African National Congress-led government under President Jacob Zuma.

The Times Live reported that the Guptas departed in their jet from the Lanseria Airport outside Johannesburg. Their Saxonwold residence near Johannesburg also appeared to be deserted. The Guptas’ resignations from Oakbay may be linked to their bid to secure funding for their purchase of Optimum Coal. Optimum Coal received a 30-year contract to supply coal to South Africa’s major power supplier Eskom.

As previously reported in The Inquisitr, the Gupta scandal in South Africa comes at a time when murder is at an all time high, while farm murders are on the rise and whites face genocide. White squatter camps are the home of approximately 400,000 whites in South Africa, although the number is estimated to be much higher at 1,000,000.

Although the ANC led government under President Jacob Zuma claims that the current economic problems in South Africa are the result of the fallout of apartheid, the previous government ended in 1994 with the election of President Nelson Mandela. The government since then has been controlled by the communist ANC, one of the political parties in South Africa and once considered a terrorist organization by the United States government.

Business Tech reported that rich white millionaires in South Africa are fleeing the country while the number of black millionaires has risen substantially. The goal of the South African government is to use Black Economic Empowerment (BEE), to open opportunities in the job market and marketplace to blacks. The result of the policy has been that white South Africans have been excluded from the job market.

Between 2007 and 2015, approximately 15,000 white South African millionaires have departed the country, leaving the total number of white millionaires in South Africa at around 21,000. Black millionaires in the country rose from 6,200 to 17,300. The report, released by New World Wealth in association with Master Card, said the goal was to use BEE to increase the amount of wealth among blacks in South Africa to create more High Net Worth Individuals (HWNIs).

“It is likely that the South African government will continue to push Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) policies until previously disadvantaged groups make up at least 80 percent of the country’s HWNIs.”

Reuters reported that Secretary General Gwede Mantashe of the ANC said that supporters are losing confidence in the organization and the ANC needs to deal with the discontent caused by the leadership of President Jacob Zuma. In January, the South African High Court ruled that Zuma had to repay $16 million in public funds he used to pay for upgrades to one of his homes. The court ruled that Zuma had also failed to uphold South Africa’s Constitution by failing to pay back the funds.

The ANC has continued to support President Zuma in spite of a myriad of scandals he has been involved in during his political career in South Africa that included allegations of rape, as well as his use of public funds. His administration has repeatedly failed to deal with the rising murder rate, as well as farm murders and white genocide. Police have claimed that the farm murders are not racially motivated, even though most of the victims were white and little property was taken.
