Piers Morgan Criticized For Giving Donald Trump Special Treatment During Interview

Piers Morgan claims feminism is dead after seeing Kim Kardashian’s latest nude photo posted on Instagram, according to the BBC. The controversial photo features Kim alongside Emily Ratajkowski with both of them being topless and raising their middle fingers.

Piers Morgan took to Twitter to post Kim and Ratajkowski’s photo next to a photo of British women’s right activist Emmeline Pankhurst, writing “RIP feminism.” The Piers Morgan Live host went on to explain that if today’s women think such photos advocate women’s rights, then “feminism as it was intended is dead.”

Piers Morgan posted a series of tweets criticizing Kardashian and Ratajkowski for posting that topless selfie, including one in which he explained what feminism is intended to be.

In his other tweet, Piers Morgan insisted that he is not offended by Kim and Ratajkowski “getting their t**s out.” Instead, the 51-year-old Good Morning Britain co-presenter said he was offended by them saying it was in the name of feminism.

And while Piers Morgan’s opinion was supported by some of his followers, the army of Kim Kardashian fans blasted Morgan for what they perceived to be rather offensive comments about their favorite celebrity. Kim was previously the center of attention and criticism on International Women’s Day when she posted a naked selfie of herself.

But Kim stood for herself that time, responding to all those who criticized the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, and even taking to her own website to say she was annoyed by the fact she was perceived as a “bad role model for being proud of my body.” Kim hasn’t yet publicly responded to Piers Morgan’s criticism.

In other news, Piers Morgan was criticized for his support for GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, according to the Mirror. His recent interview with the real estate mogul caused quite a backlash on social media, with some saying that Morgan didn’t attempt to debate Trump’s rather controversial views.

During the interview with Piers Morgan, Trump claimed he wasn’t racist, but insisted he wanted Muslims to be temporarily banned from the United States. And Morgan didn’t even give him a juicy response even though he’s known for being able to prove his interviewees wrong. After the interview, Piers Morgan was slammed by viewers, saying that he wasn’t the best choice to interview Trump. However, it didn’t seem that Morgan cared much about such a backlash, taking to his Twitter account to thank commenters for the reaction.

“Amazing reaction, thank you. Keep your comments coming – be as honest as you like! #MorganTrump ITV.”

Black Country residents were outraged by Piers Morgan’s criticism over a local Ferris wheel in Dudley, and decided to respond to the criticism by wearing masks of the Good Morning Britain host, according to the BBC.

Piers Morgan recently made comments, in which he said the visitor attraction had “a horrible view,” which prompted local businessperson Dave Carter to pay him back by getting locals to wear masks of Morgan’s face on April Fools’ Day.

Carter granted a free ride to all those who came wearing masks of Piers Morgan’s face before 10:00 a.m. local time. According to Carter’s estimates, over 4,000 people have ridden the Ferris wheel, which has been named “the worst tourist attraction in the U.K.”

In his interview with the BBC, Carter joked that he could see people’s tongues in their cheeks through the masks of Piers Morgan.

“Most people have come along to see what all the fuss is about, and they’re turning up to Dudley, doing a bit of shopping, going on the Eye and finding out that it’s actually quite good.”
