Jon Hamm Leaves Classy Don Draper Behind: Messy Hair And Bruised Nose On Set Of ‘Baby Driver’

Jon Hamm is currently shooting the new movie Baby Driver in Atlanta, which is why the 45-year-old actor has been spotted numerous times around the town, according to Just Jared. Hamm is starring in the film, directed by Edgar Wright, alongside Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, and Ansel Elgort.

Jon Hamm was spotted sporting a neck tattoo in a navy suit while filming scenes alongside Foxx. The new film, which is set to be released on March 17, 2017, tells the story of a young getaway driver named Baby, portrayed by Elgort, who provides his driving services to bank robbers and eventually finds himself in trouble.

Jon Hamm’s co-stars, Lily James and Ansel Elgort, were spotted around Atlanta filming scenes for the upcoming movie back in February. But in late March, Hamm and James made a surprise appearance during the performance of the new Cirque du Soleil show KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities, according to AJC.

Jon Hamm and his Baby Driver co-star went backstage to greet the performers and take a group photo with them. James even went as far as sitting on two of the performers’ shoulders.

As Jon Hamm turned 45 on March 10, New York Daily News published an article in which it looked back at the Mad Men star’s career. The actor wasn’t always the sexy Don Draper from Mad Men, as his career also included a series of rather boring characters.

One of those boring characters was Jon Hamm’s character on Gilmore Girls, who was obsessed with cars. That’s a far cry from the classy Don Draper from Mad Men.

Jon Hamm also appeared during the second episode of Fox’s legal comedy-drama Ally McBeal. Unfortunately for fans, Jon Hamm’s role in Calista Flockhart’s famous TV series didn’t include spoken lines.

But fame finally came knocking on Hamm’s door after he had a two-episode role on CSI: Miami back in 2005. Jon Hamm played the role of Dr. Brent Kessler, who was accused of incompetence after he left a sponge inside a woman’s body during surgery. It was later revealed that ecstasy pills taken by Hamm’s character to stop the tremors resulting from his Parkinson’s disease were to blame.

And then came Jon Hamm’s role in a season 7 episode of Charmed. The actor played the role of Jack Brody and appeared alongside Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, and Alyssa Milano.

Then in 2007, Jon Hamm played the role of “Cable Guy” on The Sarah Silverman Program. And while it’s a known fact that Silverman and Hamm have been pals for years, the stand-up comedian even revealed she could have appeared on Mad Men.

Jon Hamm’s fans have noticed that even since Mad Men came to an end, the actor looks nothing like Don Draper. The former Mad Men star was spotted with a bruised nose and a messy look on the set of Baby Driver in Atlanta in February, according to Us Magazine.

The Emmy-winner was photographed speaking to some of the movie’s crew members. Jon Hamm wore a leather jacket, khaki pants, and complemented the ensemble with a green top.

In other news, the Mad Men actor broke up with his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt, in 2015 after 18 years together. But Jon Hamm has kept himself busy ever since the breakup, and the Emmy-winner is set to promote three upcoming films this year: Marjorie Prime, Aardvark, and Keeping Up with the Joneses.

In September last year, Jon Hamm won an Emmy for his role as Don Draper on AMC’s Mad Men. He said on several occasions that the Emmy came “very unexpected.” But nonetheless, Hamm was very excited about his win.
