Rachel Reilly And Brendon Villegas Welcome Daughter: Update On ‘Big Brother’s’ Brenchel Baby

Rachel Reilly has given birth to her first child with husband Brendon Villegas, giving the world the first Brenchel baby. The Big Brother couple announced the arrival of their still-unnamed baby girl April 8 on Twitter. In her tweet, Rachel, 31, revealed that her labor was hard but she “did it all natural.”

After their baby was born, Brendon posted a sweet message about his wife Rachel Reilly, whom he met on Big Brother in 2009. Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas traveled the world together when they competed on The Amazing Race, but after their daughter’s arrival, Brendon said that watching Rachel give birth to their child made him fall in love with her all over again.

Rachel and Brendon are known as “Brenchel” to Big Brother fans, and their daughter will most likely have a unique name, too. After the couple announced their pregnancy to host Julie Chen during a taping of the CBS reality show last fall, Rachel told People that she didn’t want her baby to have a common name.

“Brendon thinks I’m gonna have a dream in the middle of the night that is gonna magically tell me the name. I really want a unique name, so anything that’s on-trend.”

But Brendon noted that “what’s cool today may not be cool in 20 years,” and he reasoned that their daughter will have to “deal with this name for the rest of her life.”

While the couple hasn’t posted a photo of little Brenchel just yet, Rachel Reilly shared a snap of her hunky husband in his hospital scrubs, and it is clear that he is already a very proud papa.

Rachel and Brendon’s baby is already getting plenty of love. Reilly’s sister Elissa Reilly Slater, who competed on the 15th season of Big Brother, posted an update on the Brenchel baby, saying her little niece is “scrumptious.” And it sounds like Elissa plans to be a doting aunt. She previously wrote that she was ready to dress her niece in all of the “ridiculous” outfits she bought her. Incidentally, Elissa is also pregnant, so the Reilly sisters will give fans the first-ever Big Brother cousins.

Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas fell in love in front of the cameras on the 12th season of Big Brother (Reilly won the 13th season of the CBS reality competition), and later tied the knot in 2012 on camera for a holiday special on WE TV, which was officiated by fellow Big Brother alum Matt Hoffman. Last September, the couple dropped their big baby news to host Julie Chen when Reilly used her catchphrase to announce she was pregnant.

“I always say no one comes in between me and my man…except a Brenchel baby!”

The birth of Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas’s daughter comes just two days after fellow Big Brother sweethearts Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder announced that they secretly got married and are expecting a baby. Baby Jejo is due October 20, and in an interview with Us Weekly, season 11 winner Jordan made it clear that she’s hoping for a baby girl just like Reilly.

“I hope it’s a girl! That’s all I want, is a healthy girl. I’m around guys all the time!” Jordan said.

Jeff and Jordan will find out their baby’s gender next week, but for now, they can join fans in welcoming Rachel and Brendon’s bouncing Big Brother baby girl.
