‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Slit Her Wrists In Suicide Attempt, Claims Ex

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans and her ex-fiance Nathan Griffith are currently engaged in an ugly custody battle over their young son, Kaiser, and in the latest round of the legal fight Nathan revealed that Jenelle tried to kill herself by slitting her wrists.

According to Radar Online, Nathan Griffith filed legal papers that stated Jenelle Evans threatened to hurt herself if Nathan were to leave her, adding that the Teen Mom star then slit her wrists.

“Plaintiff threatened self-harm and/or suicide and did, in fact, slice her wrists with a knife,” the papers read. “Plaintiff sliced her wrists… Plaintiff was taken to a hospital in Horry County, where her self-inflicted knife wounds were sutured to stop the profuse bleeding,” Griffith alleges in the court documents.

Jenelle Evans has been in and out of hospitals for the past few months with symptoms that were being called stress related. Her health issues were actually pretty scary, and fans were worried about her condition. Some fans are now wondering if her stress levels caused her to hurt herself during a dark period in her life.

Of course, the Teen Mom isn’t letting Nathan Griffith get away with making accusations about her without throwing some of her own. Jenelle Evans claims in her own court documents that Nathan isn’t fit to have custody of little Kaiser because of his behavior.

Jenelle says that Nathan doesn’t have “proper living arrangements” and accuses him of “abusing illegal substances, including steroids.”

Griffith is seeking sole custody of Kaiser with Jenelle Evans having visitation with her son. He’s also pulling out all the stops by bringing up all of her past arrests, which there are plenty of, and recalling her past drug issues such as a marijuana and heroin addiction. However, the Teen Mom 2 star has been to rehab and has been clean for quite some time now.

Currently, Jenelle Evans is dating a new man named David Eason, who made his Teen Mom 2 debut in last week’s episode. Unfortunately, the fact that Jenelle and David live together could also prove to be a hurdle for Evans to jump during her custody battle with Nathan Griffith.

Recently, David was arrested for violating a protection order that his former girlfriend put in place to protect herself and their son. David claims to have seen his son in the grocery store and walked up to him to give him a hug, which was a violation of the order.

In the past, Jenelle’s boyfriend has been arrested for domestic violence, which is likely why the protection order is in place. However, Nathan Griffith was also arrested for domestic violence following a fight between himself and Evans after the Teen Mom claimed he shoved her and ripped her engagement ring off her finger.

It will be interesting to see how Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith’s custody battle over Kaiser plays out as they both have been arrested multiple times in the past, accused each other of drug abuse, and currently don’t have custody of their oldest children.

Many Teen Mom fans know that Jenelle hasn’t had custody of her older son, Jace, since he was a baby, as she signed over her rights to her mother, Barbara, and is currently fighting to get custody of Jace back even though Barbara doesn’t seem to want to give it up.

Jenelle Evans’ custody battles with Nathan and her mother will play out during the current season of Teen Mom 2, although neither have been settled as of yet. Will Jenelle finally have both her boys under one roof together, or will her heart be broken yet again?
