Rihanna And Mike Will Made-It’s ‘Nothing’s Promised’ Coming Soon? New Teaser Surfaces On Twitter

Rihanna may be busy promoting her new singles “Kiss It Better” and “Needed Me,” but is Rihanna preparing to drop yet another single alongside rumored collaborator and producer Mike Will Made-It?

According to a newly surfaced clip on Twitter, it appears that Rihanna and Mike Will Made-It may be ready to drop their long-awaited track, “Nothing’s Promised,” which was previously rumored to serve as one of Rihanna’s lead singles from her eighth studio album, Anti.

“Nothing’s Promised” first made headlines in July 2015 after Mike Will Made-It and Rihanna began teasing a brief snippet of the track on their social media pages.

The producer took to Twitter on July 20 to share a 15-second clip of the rumored single in which Rihanna can be heard singing, “Ain’t none of this s*** promised, ain’t none of this promised. Ain’t none of this s*** certain, ain’t none of it certain.”

Mike Will Made-It captioned the teaser clip with the message, “New *fire emoji* with @Rihanna OTW! #NothingsPromised Who thinks they’re ready,” seemingly confirming speculation that the track would serve as a single for either the producer or for Rihanna’s Anti, MTV News reports.

However, after Rihanna’s Anti dropped in January with no sign of “Nothing’s Promised” on either the original or deluxe track listing for the album, fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment over the song having not made the final cut on the record.

One fan took to Twitter to insinuate that Mike Will Made-It had lied about releasing the highly anticipated collaboration, prompting the producer to drop even more hints about the song’s rumored release.

“I’d never lie, enjoy Rih’s new album it’s lit, #RANSOM2 Friday…And stay tuned for anything else #NothingsPromised,” Mike Will Made-It wrote via Twitter just hours after Anti’s release on January 28.

Now, it appears that Mike Will Made-It may be gearing up to drop “Nothing’s Promised” after a new snippet of the track appeared on Twitter late Thursday evening, prompting Rihanna fans to flood the producer’s Twitter page with questions regarding the rumored single’s release.

In the clip, which appears to have been taken during a celebratory bash promoted by the producer on Thursday, Rihanna can be heard singing a few new verses over the beat for “Nothing’s Promised.”

Interestingly enough, Mike Will Made-It hinted at his plans to drop some new music during the event in an Instagram post on Thursday, telling followers, “Celebrating for the Aries tonight in LA pullup with good gas & bottle fare, might have the DJ drop some new s*** if it’s turnt enough…#RANSOM2.”

While neither Rihanna nor Mike Will Made-It have officially confirmed the newly surfaced release rumors for “Nothing’s Promised,” it looks like the producer may be planning to use the record as his own single release, with Rihanna serving as a feature on the moody track.

While fans eagerly await a response from either Rihanna or Mike Will Made-It regarding their new collaboration, Rihanna is keeping fans busy with the release of her two new singles, “Kiss It Better” and “Needed Me.”

Rihanna dropped her sultry black-and-white music video for “Kiss It Better” last week after rumors surfaced suggesting that the track would serve as the follow-up single to her chart-topping “Work” collaboration with Drake. In addition, Rihanna announced “Needed Me” as the third single off of Anti following the release of paparazzi photos from a reported music video shoot for the track in Miami last month, although an official release date for the video has not been confirmed.
