Paris Jackson Raises Eyebrows With New Boyfriend And Even Newer Tattoo

Ever since Paris Jackson turned 18, the teenager has been having a rebellious streak. She’s also been turning heads with her new punk style and her controversial new boyfriend.

It’s not Paris Jackson’s tattoos that are causing controversy. It’s her boyfriend’s tattoo that has her family concerned. TMZ is reporting that Jackson is dating a “racist” because Michael Snoddy has an arm tattoo that displays the Confederate flag, which has racist connotations. The drummer of the band Street Drum Corps doesn’t see anything wrong with the tattoo and was quoted saying, “I wouldn’t be dating a black girl if I were a racist.”

Paris, who’s been dating Michael for only a few weeks, also has no problems with his edgy tattoo. It’s her family that’s concerned since the Confederate flag is seen as a racist symbol. Another reason why Michael sports the tattoo is because he’s a huge fan of Pantera’s album, Cowboys From Hell, which features the controversial emblem. He also has the initials “CFH” on his tattoo, as seen in recent photos.

Paris Jackson received her second tattoo when she turned the big 1-8 on Sunday amid her boyfriend’s controversial new ink. The late Michael Jackson’s daughter received two tattoos in three days. The first one was a green and blue lotus flower in honor of her grandmother, and the second features the phrase “queen of my heart” written in her father’s handwriting. Jackson had both done on her left wrist by tattoo artists Justin Lewis and Hillary Santagata at the Timeless Tattoo in Hollywood.

“To everyone else he was the King of Pop,” the platinum blonde wrote in her Instagram caption. “To me, well, he was the king of my heart.”

According to the Daily Mail report, Paris has been rebelling lately not only with new body art, but also with her new punk-rock style and appreciation for cigarettes.

The same tattoo artist, Justin Lewis, tattooed Anubis, an iconic Egyptian deity, on her older brother Prince Jackson. The 19-year-old showed off his new ink, which is displayed on his right shoulder blade. Paris has also been proudly showing off her new ink on Instagram, as seen in the photos below.

But not everyone is happy with the teen’s decision to get inked so soon. Jackson has already received backlash on social media for her sudden interest in body art. Some exclaimed “second tattoo in two days” and “once you get one, you can’t stop!” Jackson confidently took to Twitter to defend herself.

“Never apologize for art,” she casually tweeted on Thursday, ignoring her haters.

It’s obvious that Paris’ sudden interest in tattoos is heavily influenced by her new boyfriend. She reportedly ditched her family so she could celebrate her 18th birthday with the musician at Disney’s California Adventure on Sunday. Paris and Michael met at one of the AA meetings she confessed to attending in a now-deleted comment on Instagram on Feb. 4.

“[Michael] is helping newly sober Paris and they have obviously really latched on to each other. Snoddy is helping Paris with her vocals and now they have gotten so close because of their shared love of music.”

She even posted a video on her Instagram account, claiming that her new friends and beau are her new family.

Jackson followed up that post with a photo of her and Snoddy kissing at Disneyland, writing in the caption, “Best birthday present ever!”

Although the wild teen is not close to her family these days, she still maintains a close bond with Prince.
