Paris Jackon’s Boyfriend Michael Snoddy Accused Of Being Racist
Paris Jackson is the daughter of late singing sensation Michael Jackson. Social media covered many of the events of her 18th birthday, including her tattoo tribute to her father. In Michael Jackson’s simple scribble, it reads, “Queen of My Heart.”

“To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart,” she captioned in a black and white photo at Paris Jackson on Instagram.

Paris Jackson was only 11-years-old when Michael Jackson died in 2009. Justin Lewis of Timeless Tattoo in Los Angeles had the honor of inking the 18-year-old for her birthday. She got a second tattoo in tribute to her grandmother, Katherine, on the inside of her wrist.
With social media focusing on the profound meaning behind her tattoos, it comes as no surprise that social media would also focus on the tattoos of her new beau, Street Drum Corp drummer Michael Snoddy. The 26-year-old musician showed off his tattoos, including one of the Confederate flag.
Some of Jackson’s family members fear she is dating a racist. The Confederate flag has racial undertones, and it is irony in the worst form, as Paris’ father is black.
Fans have taken to social media to discuss their distaste for the drummers tattoo choices as many southern states are removing the vestiges of Confederate symbols from public view. According to TMZ, Snoddy gave the following statement.
“I wouldn’t be dating a black girl if I were a racist.”

His response sounds good in theory, but Jackson’s family remains skeptical. It’s been discovered that he’s also a fan of Pantera’s album, Cowboys From Hell. Much of the Cowboys From Hell merchandise, and many posters, use the Confederate flag. The frontman of the band was forced to apologize after being caught doing what appeared to be a Nazi salute while shouting “white power.”

Paris Jackson doesn’t seem to mind the tattoo, but her family thinks it signifies his feelings toward African Americans.
According to the Daily Mail, Snoddy has wanted that tattoo since middle school, despite that flag sparking fierce debates in recent years. Many have called for it to be banned because it was the banner for a group of people who wanted to keep slavery legal in the south. However, he still maintains that he’s not racist.
Michael Snoddy is Paris first love interest since her break-up with Chester Castellaw in December, 2015. According to Heavy Magazine, the two met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
Jackson is recovering from her suicide attempt in 2013. She attempted to take her life after she was told she did not share the same biological father as her older brother, Prince. She believed Debbie Rowe and an unnamed man were their biological parents.
Radar Online reported “Paris’s family are extremely worried about her and the relationship.” Despite her trying to clean up her act. After her break up with Castellaw she cut her hair super short and dyed it blonde. She has picked up a smoking habit. And finally, dating Snoddy, who proudly sports a Confederate Flag tattoo.

“They really like each other. It’s a real relationship, and things are moving fast,” stated a Page Six source.
Family member claim Paris Jackson has already expressed her love for Michael Snoddy and it’s only been two weeks. Jackson has told family members that she will live her life the way she wants too.
Snoddy who rocks a Mohawk and is covered with tattoos responded to his critics, “There’s a difference between Southern pride and racism.”
