Pic Of Josh Duggar With Ted Cruz Isn’t Good For His Campaign: Whom Do Duggars Support?

Josh Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting lost a lot of fans when his scandal came to light. Now an older picture of Josh with Ted Cruz is being shared, and it could put a negative light on Ted’s campaign. Starcasm shared about this picture of Josh and Ted and what it could end up meaning.

This picture of Josh Duggar is from over a year ago. This was before Josh’s scandal was revealed and while he was still working at the Family Research Council Action. Josh got the chance to meet with Ted and was really excited about it. Josh shared saying, “I had a great meeting today with @sentedcruz. He always conveys his passion for America and the importance of advancing faith, family and freedom!”

The thing is, when Josh Duggar shared this photo, fans knew him as the oldest Duggar son. He had a lot of fans and their show 19 Kids and Counting was doing great. There was no reason that this picture would be seen as negative. Then the news came out about Josh Duggar and his scandals. Their show was canceled and Josh spent six months in a sex rehab. Now people are going back to this old picture and posting negative comments about Cruz posing with Josh Duggar. It has never been removed from his Instagram page, even though Josh doesn’t actively post on it anymore.

The Duggars did make it very obvious that they were supporting Mike Huckabee when he was running for president. Now Huckabee is out of the race. Since then, the Duggars haven’t shared whom they are supporting, but a lot of people assume that it could be Cruz. They do share a lot of the same views. Everyone would love to know whom the Duggars want to win, but they are smart. They know that if they back someone it could hurt their campaign. After the big Josh Duggar scandal, they have been staying out of the headlines if they can.

Josh Duggar admitted to molesting some of his sisters when they were younger. Right as the world was figuring out how to move on past this scandal, it was revealed that Josh Duggar had been using the website Ashley Madison to find women to cheat on his pregnant wife Anna with and that he had actually met up with people from the site. Fellowship of the Minds actually says that Ted Cruz’s email address was also in the database for Ashley Madison subscribers.

An aide of his says that “the email address in question is press@cruz.senate.gov,” and that this address is “a publicly and widely available forwarding address that is often entered into web contact forms by people with no connection to our office.” There is no proof that Cruz was using the site, whereas Josh Duggar freely admits to using it and even went to sex rehab for six months after it was revealed. This all went down after their picture was taken together.
