Yolanda Foster Divorce Announced During ‘RHOBH’ Season 6 Finale: It ‘Is Almost Like A Death’ [Video]

Yolanda Foster and her co-stars are seen reacting to her split from husband David Foster in a sneak peek at the upcoming Season 6 finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

While Yolanda Foster’s breakup was announced on December 1, 2015, the day of the Season 6 premiere, their divorce won’t be seen on the show until next Tuesday night.

“Yolanda and David are getting a divorce,” Eileen Davidson announces in a sneak peek at the April 12 finale episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6.

“I’m assuming [Yolanda Foster] was blindsided,” Lisa Vanderpump says in another scene.

Yolanda Foster used to be close with Vanderpump due to Vanderpump’s friendship with her ex-husband, Mohamed Hadid, but in recent months, since starring alongside one another on the Bravo reality series, things between the two women have become strained.

“Maybe she’s like, the one who fell out of love with him,” Kathryn Edwards speculates.

Later on in the preview clip, Yolanda Foster is seen sitting with a friend, telling the unseen person, “If you stop making each other happy, then you shouldn’t be together.”

Yolanda Foster also said, “Divorce is almost like a death.”

Yolanda Foster married husband David on November 11, 2011, and within months, her life was drastically changed when she was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Following the diagnosis, Yolanda Foster began traveling the globe in hopes of finding a cure, or a relief from her symptoms. She even went to Asia, where David was filming Asia’s Got Talent, and underwent treatments not yet approved in the States.

Months after announcing her divorce, Yolanda Foster admitted that her health was a major factor in her split from David.

“The patient suffers, but the caretakers suffer too. Because life doesn’t only change for us, it changes for the person next to you,” Yolanda Foster, 52, told Dr. Oz, according to a March 1 report by Us Weekly.

“At the end of the day, David never changed, I changed,” Yolanda Foster continued. “Unfortunately, these are the cards that life dealt me. It wasn’t by choice. But I’m not the woman I used to be and I probably will never be again. My focus, my energy goes to trying to get well, trying to make a difference, trying to find a cure for my children … and David’s life is really traveling, going to concerts, loud music. And I mean, I couldn’t, I can barely listen to the radio.”

During last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, without naming anyone in particular, Yolanda Foster told her friends, Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville (who returned to the show only in guest-starring roles during Season 6), that people no longer want to help others. Instead, they move on from sick people and get new wives.

In addition to Yolanda Foster’s own Lyme disease diagnosis, her two youngest children with ex-husband Mohamed Hadid, Bella and Anwar Hadid, have also been diagnosed with Lyme disease, as Yolanda Foster revealed during Season 6. However, their relationship with David appears to remain strong, and earlier this year, David was seen attending a fashion show in Paris where both Bella and her older sister, Gigi Hadid, walked the runway.
