Trump Star On Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame Continues To Be Defaced

Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is an easy mark for all kinds of vandalism. Ever since Trump threw his hat into the ring in 2015, the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been a hot spot for graffiti and more. Between a swastika and a dog that really had to use the bathroom, cleaning up Trump’s star has been a full time job.

Vanity Fair is reporting that the Trump star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is currently the most defaced star to date. There is even a rumor circulating that Trump’s star might be at least temporarily removed, as it is causing too much trouble for the group that maintains them. A Twitter post queried whether the spray painted swastika was done by a Trump supporter or a Trump protestor.

The next symbol spray painted on the Trump star was a speaker with an X through it, like the mute symbol on an iPhone. Next on the Trump star was a variety of words, like racist, don’t vote, and Trump is a chump. People have also taken a variety of selfies giving the finger to the star.

But a statement from the Hollywood Historic Trust says that once a star in placed in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it is there for good.

“Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”

Entertainment Weekly says that the Trump star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been vandalized on a regular basis. Donald Trump received the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his work on The Apprentice, dating back to 2007. The report says that the Trump star has been defaced by graffiti, spray paint, and even dog poo.

A man dressed as superman, who regularly walks the Hollywood Walk of Fame, says that the Donald Trump star attracts a lot of negative attention, as people use “bad words and bad signs” to express their feelings about Trump.

The Los Angeles Times told the story of a family trip to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the reaction that the Donald Trump star got from the youngest in the group. Linda Lin and her family took a trip to see the Hollywood sights, and ended up checking out the Hollywood Walk of Fame. When they came upon the Trump star, her daughter Grace, an elementary school student in Pasadena started to jump up and down on the star, stomping on Trump.

“My mom saw it, I started jumping on it,” she said with a wide grin. She didn’t like “his speeches and stuff.”

A reporter watched the Trump star for a short time, and within just a half hour, the Trump star got obscene hand gestures, people pretending to spit, and selfies taken with it. The Herrera family took a photo with their son posed as if his hands were around the Trump star, as if he were choking it.

Hades, a Belgian Malinois mix relieved himself “accidentally” right over Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame star. Rather than getting upset, the crowd suggested that Hades deserved some treats for his act of civil disobedience.

“Then I saw whose star it was, and I thought it was hilarious… I think dogs have a personality more than people think.”

The Donald Trump star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is there to stay, but it continues to draw all sorts of attention.
