‘Bachelor’ Host Chris Harrison Spent The Weekend With ‘Paradise’ Star AshLee Frazier, Are They Officially A Couple? [Report]

The Bachelor host Chris Harrison has been divorced since 2012, and since then, there have been multiple rumors that he has dated former contestants from the franchise. Although the 44-year-old Texas native has never confirmed the rumors, he tells YourTango it’s something he hasn’t ruled out.

The latest Chris Harrison dating rumor comes from blogger Reality Steve, who is convinced that Harrison is now dating former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise contestant AshLee Frazier. Could it be that Chris is trying to ease into an announcement of some sort without specifically shouting to the world that he is dating the runner-up from Sean Lowe’s season of The Bachelor?

Steve states that the photo Chris posted on Twitter on April 3 does not represent a chance meeting — Chris and AshLee reportedly spent several days together in Houston last weekend.

“There’s more to this story than Chris is letting on,” Steve writes. “Let’s just say that wasn’t a random run in.”

The photo Harrison posted on Twitter was taken at the Munch Mania Celebrity basketball game in Houston on Sunday. According to Reality Steve, that’s not the first time the Bachelor host was spotted with AshLee over the weekend.

“Friday night, Chris and AshLee were seen together at the Local Pour in Houston,” Steve revealed on his blog, “and then the next night, Chris and AshLee were seen together at a birthday party in Houston for friends.”

AshLee, 35, is a Houston, Texas, native, but in August 2015, she relocated to L.A., where she runs her fashion blog AshLeeFrazier.com. Considering Chris lives in L.A. as well, they both have the Texas—Cali life in common. A match made in heaven? Maybe, maybe not.

“I am finally making my official move to Los Angeles. It’s funny, because most people I meet think I’m from LA already. I wonder why? Do you think it’s only because I was on The Bachelor? I’m over the moon excited and can’t wait to start this new chapter of my life,I’m still young, and the world is too big not to be explored.”

After Chris divorced in 2012, he told GQ that he thought it was wrong that he wanted to get back in the dating game, especially since relationships gave him “angst.”

“Once I got divorced there was this knee-jerk reaction to get back in the action and date. I think there’s something wrong in that. I’m incredibly, stunningly happy. What gave me angst was relationships.“

Post-divorce dating can be daunting and anxiety inducing for sure, but is this why the rose master has remained single for the past four years?

Harrison has been linked to other Bachelor contestants in the past, but if they were actual relationships, he never confirmed their existence. In 2013, Hollywood Life reported that he was rumored to be dating Selma Alameri from Sean Lowe’s season, followed by speculation that he was doing more than flirting with former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman.

AshLee hasn’t been shy about sharing her dating life with her fans, showing off photos on social media when she briefly dated Bachelor Brad Womack and, later, Michael Garofola, who appeared on Des Hartsock’s season of The Bachelorette. She then made a failed attempt at finding love with Graham Bunn on Bachelor in Paradise in the summer of 2014 but denied rumors that they dated before the show filmed.

Is the relationship between Chris Harrison and AshLee Frazier the real deal or just platonic? Fans won’t know until they confirm it, but for now, it appears to be a rumor until Chris makes it official.
