‘Deadliest Catch’ Spoilers: Sig And Jake Battling It Out

The second episode of Season 12 of Deadliest Catch airs tonight, and if you saw last week’s episode, you don’t need a spoiler to know that there’s conflict in the air. The battle is on as Capt. Sig Hansen of the Northwestern and Capt. Jake Anderson of the Saga fight it out for the upper hand.

On last week’s Deadliest Catch, Jake was tipped off on a prime spot for crab, but Sig overheard. He couldn’t let that go without acting on it, so the Deadliest Catch captain decided to follow Jake, who learned about the plan and sabotaged Sig’s pots. Now it’s game on for these two guys, and it begins in tonight’s episode. The show tweeted a preview video that provides some spoilers about tonight’s Deadliest Catch action. Check it out.

These two Deadliest Catch captains will mock, bicker, and name call as they try to outdo one another. The arguing you see in the spoiler video will continue throughout tonight’s episode. Sig finds Jake immature and irresponsible, attacking him for game-playing and an inability to maintain control of his attitude and his crew.

The Deadliest Catch spoiler video seems to indicate that we won’t see Jake willing to admit there are any issues among the crew on his ship, but he’s wrong. It seems Sig is right in saying that he doesn’t have control of his crew as we see them bickering. He’s a new captain, still learning his way around the job and its responsibilities. There’s tension on Jake’s ship that he needs to deal with, but will he on tonight’s episode of Deadliest Catch? We’ll see, but TV.com has a few spoilers and one is that Jake will make a mistake tonight. With Sig? With his crew? Something else? After all the time Sig spent mentoring him, Jake may do well to listen to him and take his advice. After all, he has over 30 years of fishing experience. Will he heed his warnings?

Need more Deadliest Catch spoilers? The folks at TV.com also tell us that tonight’s episode will feature Brenna A captain Sean Dwyer and his crew getting ready for their first season of crabbing. “Wild Bill” Wichrowski has to deal with a deckhand and Wizard captain Keith Colburn will get support from Time Bandit captain Johnathon Hillstrand.

There is no mention in any of the spoilers for this week’s episode of Deadliest Catch of Cornelia Marie captain Josh Harris. Some spoilers have leaked, however, that deal with Josh and some situations he’ll find himself in this season. Josh recently had extensive work done on the Cornelia Marie. Some of the renovations that were made to the Deadliest Catch vessel include all new electronics in the wheelhouse, a large crane, a ramped-up engine room, and a new galley, according to Star Pulse. That kind of work doesn’t come cheap, and this season of Deadliest Catch will follow Josh has he works under the pressure to have a big enough crabbing year to cover the expenses of the remodel.
