Khloe Kardashian Staying With Lamar Odom Out Of Guilt? She’s Afraid Of What Will Happen If She Leaves For Good

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were on the road to divorce before his near-death experience changed everything. Despite plans to end the marriage, Kardashian decided to help Odom throughout his recovery process. Now that the former NBA star is doing better, Kardashian has yet to leave his side, leading many to speculate that the reality star is sticking with Odom out of guilt.

An inside source told Radar Online that Kardashian is currently worried about what might happen if she leaves Odom. Although Odom has made huge strides in his recovery over the past few months, the source revealed that he recently returned to his old ways. Not only is this an unfortunate turn of events for Odom, but it’s also confirmed Kardashian’s fears that Odom is heading down the same road that almost killed him last fall.

“Lamar has been reaching out to the people he knows who hooked him up with drugs back when he was living in Vegas,” the insider revealed. “He’s really doing stupid stuff.”

As fans will recall, Odom nearly lost his life after an overdose this past fall. The former Los Angeles Laker was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and was immediately taken into intensive care. In the proceeding months, Odom underwent a lengthy recovery process with the help of Kardashian.

Despite his efforts to get a hold of illegal substances, the insider went on to add that Odom has had trouble with his old dealers. For the most part, they are concerned about any backlash if Odom were to overdose again and the added attention that would entail.

According to TMZ, Odom has also started drinking again. While Odom believes drinking is just a part of his return to normality, Kardashian is afraid that if she leaves, it will only push Odom further over the edge. With that fear looming over her, Kardashian is afraid to cut ties with her husband and leave him for good.

Meanwhile, fans recently spotted Odom in attendance at a Lakers game. Although it is certainly good to see Odom making public appearances once again, eyewitnesses in the audience told Radar Online that Odom’s appearance was almost zombie-like.

“Lamar was on the jumbotron for a good 10 seconds and he even got a standing ovation from the crowd, but he acted like he didn’t even notice or was totally out of it,” a source explained. “Lamar is completely delusional right now. It is sad. He just isn’t thinking clearly at all.”

It’s not clear if Odom’s unhealthy appearance at the basketball game was due to his overdose or because he has started drinking again. Whatever the truth of the matter, it is clear that his actions are starting to take a major toll on Khloe Kardashian.

In fact, TMZ is reporting that the reality star even cancelled filming for her new series Kocktails with Khloe because of Odom’s state of health. Apparently, Khloe’s official reason for the cancellation was because of an illness, although a source told the outlet that it was really Odom’s downhill spiral that was behind the decision.

The source revealed that Kardashian was too stressed about Odom’s return to drinking to film her show. Furthermore, Odom’s refusal to seek professional help in regards to his drinking problem has added even more stress to Kardashian’s life and has left her in a state of emotional breakdown.

At this time, it is unclear what will become of Kardashian’s relationship with Odom. Sadly, it appears as though Odom is unwilling to change his ways despite Kardashian’s support over the past few months. Whether or not the two will remain together is yet to be seen.
