Taylor Swift Shades Justin Bieber At Award Show As Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, & Biebs Form Love Triangle

Taylor Swift stays loyal to her girl squad, and when it comes to best friend Selena Gomez, Taylor doesn’t try to hide how she feels about the way Justin Bieber has broken Selena’s heart repeatedly. Swift found the perfect opportunity to demonstrate her loyalty to Selena and hostility toward Justin at the recent 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards, reported Us Weekly.

After Bieber performed at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Taylor did all she could to convey through her actions that she was not impressed. Although fans were screaming their enthusiasm, Swift slowly clapped a few times before deciding that sipping her beverage took priority after even attempting to pretend that she thought Justin was worth applause. Loyal beau Calvin Harris followed Taylor’s lead.

Although Swift’s best friend Selena has had an off-again-on-again romance with Bieber for years, Taylor began urging Gomez to split with Justin early in the romance. It was in 2013 that Swift allegedly did all she could to persuade Selena that Bieber was the wrong choice when it came to the men who deserved her affection and attention.

Taylor didn’t devote the entire evening to shading Justin and defending Gomez, however. Swift took home awards for Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Most Meme-able Moment, and Best Tour.

While Selena was happy for her best friend, she and Bieber both seemed to be sending fans mixed messages about the current status of their relationship during the award ceremony, pointed out ET.

An observer revealed to ET that Justin ignored Gomez, walking right past her backstage without a word, and Selena changed her direction as well. Moreover, when Bieber sang, Gomez was nowhere in sight, showing up only after Justin had finished.

But the confusion didn’t end there. When the pop idol took the trophy for Male Artist of the Year, Selena made a point of joining in the standing ovation and making her happiness for her former boyfriend evident.

The newest evidence that Jelena (Justin + Selena) fans might still have a reason to hope comes about two weeks following Gomez’s decision to attend Bieber’s show in Los Angeles. That sighting came just after Jelena fans went wild after Justin shared a throwback picture of the two locking lips and Selena responded.

What’s the real reason why Gomez and Bieber can’t commit to each other again? Both Selena and Justin want to be in charge of the relationship, an insider explained to Hollywood Life.

“They keep playing mind games with each other because they both want to wear the pants when it comes to a relationship,” revealed the insider. “As much as they want things to happen with each other again, it’s easier to play these games. It seems to be something they enjoy even more than having a normal relationship with each other.”

And for those who hope that Gomez and Bieber will rekindle their romance permanently, the source has a prediction.

“This [game-playing] will only continue between the two,” theorizes the source.

As for other contenders for Selena’s and Justin’s love, neither is lacking. As the Inquisitr reported, Gomez recently has been linked to Charlie Puth and Samuel Krost. And while Selena is enjoying flirty fun with those potential boyfriends, Bieber has entertained himself with his own separate romances.

Kourtney Kardashian has been enjoying her share of cougar love with Justin, as the Inquisitr noted. Since splitting from her baby daddy Scott Disick last summer, Kourtney, 36, and the pop idol have been spotted together repeatedly.

But is Kardashian’s hot hookup cooling off, with Bieber now turning his attention to her sister Kendall Jenner? Turning to Instagram, the Biebs shared a photo of Kendall’s Vogue magazine cover, pointed out the Mirror.

Jenner is wearing minimal clothing, and Justin made it clear he appreciated her cheeky pose.

“Congrats Ken you look beautiful,” wrote the Biebs.

Did the pop idol just hint that his love triangle involving Kendall and Selena is back? Just as with Gomez, the Biebs has enjoyed an on-again-off-again romance with Jenner. And when the pop star was seen having an intimate dinner with Kendall in Paris in 2014, his relationship with Selena crumbled again.

Is his new praise for Jenner a ploy, coming just after he pointedly ignored Gomez at the award show and she seemed to miss his performance deliberately? It’s possible that not even the Biebs knows the answers.
