‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Stabbed, Rushed To The Hospital In Critical Condition– Ian Ward Offers To Protect Him?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that big drama is ahead for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) this week as he prepares to serve his first few days in jail. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) visits his father in prison to make sure he is okay, and what he finds is shocking, to say the least. Nick arrives to visit his father, and Victor was cheerful, and scheming for a way to get out of jail. Victor makes a deal with Ian Ward (Ray Wise) for protection; however, it doesn’t help because the billionaire was stabbed in his cell, presumably by Ian’s “pals.”

She Knows Soaps reported that Nick visits his father in prison to try to cheer him up. The Y&R spoilers claim that he was shocked to see that his father was not upset about being in jail–he was in good spirits. Victor tells Nick that he has a new scheme and needed his help to pull it off. Nick warns him that it could lead to trouble, and he is worried it won’t work. What could be the favor that Victor needs from his son?

Soap Central revealed that Victor meet a familiar face in jail–Ian Ward. And, instead of being rivals, they decided to protect each other, as Ian offered Victor protection in prison. The Young and the Restless spoilers claim that at first Victor tried to explain he didn’t need protection because he can take care of himself. However, Ward pointed out that there are some scary guys just waiting to mess up his pretty face, or worse–as he soon found out.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victor accepted the protection from Ian and let his guard down. Victor soon realized that Ian was looked up to by many of the prisoners, so it was a good thing they were a team. The Y&R spoilers tease that as he was trying to sleep, he was awoken by a stabbing pain–one of Ian’s men stabbed him. The guards immediately came in to take Victor to the hospital. When his family arrived to Genoa City General Hospital, the doctor tells his family that it doesn’t look good–the patriarch may not make it.

Of course, The Young and the Restless fans know that Victor will make it, but who would dare try to kill him? You have to wonder if the stabbing was part of the plan that he concocted with Ian Ward and son, Nick. It would get him out of prison, at least for a few days. If not, why would Ian Ward make a deal to protect his rival only to turn on him in a matter of hours?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victor will decide that he wants to end his marriage to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and serve her with divorce papers. Victor is still reeling from his family turning on him in such a dramatic way, and will not accept that his loving wife would turn on him so quickly. The Y&R spoilers indicate that he will worry about Nikki because she recently fell off the wagon and will enlist their children to watch over her. It seems unlikely that they will divorce, but with Victor, anything is possible.
