‘Real Housewives’ Tamra & Vicki Hospitalized In Sand Dune Wreck [Breaking News]

Just when Real Housewives of Orange County has started to mend the relationships, at least between Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge, a harrowing sand dune accident has sent both of them to the hospital, and one of them had to be airlifted. Police say that the accident happened Saturday afternoon, when the Polaris RZR they were riding in rolled multiple times. It is being reported that Judge was behind the wheel.

It was up in the air, according to the Inquisitr, whether or not Gunvalson was going to return to RHOC for the next season. After last season, and the impression that Gunvalson was in on the cancer scam with Brooks Ayers, the trust between Vicki and the rest of the cast was almost non-existent. Gunvalson had said she was moving on, and not returning to RHOC, but perhaps the payday changed her mind?

TMZ broke the news that Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge had been in an accident that sent Judge to the hospital, and had Gunvalson airlifted. RHOC was taping at the time, and Tamra Judge was behind the wheel of the vehicle when it crashed and rolled. Both women have since been released from the hospital, and were transported to the hospital generally out of “an abundance of caution.”

Both women were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

Hollywood Life is revealing that Gunvalson and Judge were shooting a scene for RHOC driving ATVs in the California desert. The report is that the ladies were more scared than hurt when Judge rolled the ATV they were riding in, and the witnesses and camera crew were also pretty freaked out. Judge and Gunvalson never lost consciousness and were alert after the accident.

Gunvalson was kept overnight in the hospital, and Judge was released the same day, with mostly bumps and bruises. There is no word on whether or not the crash will be featured on RHOC for this season, but considering that nobody was truly hurt, it should be a ratings boost. For now, Vicki Gunvalson is back on Twitter, so things seem normal for the RHOC star.

Starcasm is reporting that Tamra Judge lost control of the ATV that the RHOC star was driving with Gunvalson in the passenger seat. Gunvalson and Judge were having a great day in Glamis, California when their ATV crashed. There were two other people involved in the RHOC crash, but they don’t seem to be part of the Bravo show. Tamra Judge came forward on social media to take responsibility for the rolling of the ATV, and to thank fans for their concern.

“So many text, tweets and phone calls asking if this is true. I can confirm it is. Thank you for your prayers and concerns. We are both beat up but very lucky to be alive. I’ve never been so scared in my life. As the driver I have an overwhelming amount of guilt and just happy that the 4 of us are alive.”

Judge posted a photo of her busted helmet, along with a tongue and cheek tweet about the ATV accident, showing that at least her sense of humor was still intact.

The gang was in the desert celebrating Eddie Judge’s birthday, along with Tamra Judge’s son Ryan, and granddaughter Ava.
