Harry Styles And Chelsea Handler Wound Up In Bed Together, Shocked Party Guests
Has Harry Styles spent time with Chelsea lately? Maybe not, but a recent report did claim that he and talk show host Chelsea Handler hopped in bed together last year.
The 22-year-old One Direction star and the 41-year-old comedian were allegedly the talk of a 2015 party in Los Angeles, which took place during one of Harry Styles’ breaks from touring with his boy band. They enjoyed each other’s company so much that they allegedly jumped into bed together and spent the night flirting, much to the shock of the other partygoers.
“They seemed to think nothing of the commotion they caused by plonking themselves together side by side in such an intimate setting,” a source told the Sun.
“They were on a bed as people rushed around them and they were being pretty flirty.”
Harry and Chelsea reportedly bonded after discovering that they have very similar personalities—they both don’t care about what others think of them, which is why they were comfortable crawling into bed together in front of so many other people. The Sun source described Harry as a “free spirit” and Chelsea as “uninhibited.”
“Being wild is Chelsea’s natural default [behavior,]” the insider said.
However, there are no reports that Harry Styles and Chelsea Handler hooked up at the party, and a source told the Sun that they are just unlikely friends who “love to mess around.” They met through a mutual acquaintance, Harry’s manager Jeffrey Azoff.
There’s no hard evidence that Harry Styles and Chelsea Handler actually engaged in some very public pillow talk at a Hollywood party, but last April, Chelsea shared photographic proof that they’ve goofed off together. According to People, she posted a very cheeky Instagram snapshot of herself posing with Harry Styles. Harry had a huge smile plastered on his face and was shrugging at the camera, and Chelsea was wearing a pair of blue bikini bottoms emblazoned with Harry’s name. Chelsea revealed that she and the One Direction star were hanging out with mutual pal James Corden, and The Late Late Show host was having a good giggle over their goofy pose.
Harry Styles might just be friends with Chelsea Handler, but it’s no secret that he’s open to dating older women. According to the Mirror, he’s been linked to numerous “cougars,” including The X Factor UK host Caroline Flack. Harry was just 17 when he started dating the 32-year-old, who was his first high-profile girlfriend. Shortly before the singer hooked up with Caroline, he allegedly had a fling with a married 33-year-old DJ named Lucy Horobin. The tryst destroyed Horobin’s marriage.
Harry Styles does have a cut-off age when it comes to who he dates, and Chelsea Handler is actually a few years below the line. According to the Daily Mail, Harry isn’t comfortable dating anyone who is older than his mother, Anne Cox. Anne is currently 47.
“I’ve been dating a couple of younger guys and I like where that’s headed more,” Chelsea said. “I’m not looking to settle down, so I think, ‘Why not just survey the land and see what’s out there?'”
Harry Styles and Chelsea Handler aren’t just fellow free spirits who happen to fall in each other’s preferred age range for a romantic partner—they both share a love of being in the buff. According to Sugarscape, Harry has admitted that his “worst habit is getting naked all the time.” Bandmate Louis Tomlinson agrees.
“Harry likes to pull his trousers down. You do Harry, you’re always getting your bum out,” Louis said during an interview with Celebs On Sunday. “I’ve been asleep before and Harry has hit me round the head with his penis. It actually wrapped around my whole face. Who wouldn’t be envious of that?”
Chelsea Handler would likely love this prank, because she’s also a fan of stripping down. As the Daily Mail points out, her Instagram and Twitter pages are evidence of this, as there are topless photos of Chelsea in a tub, in the snow, on a horse, and in a pool. She and Harry are both clearly very comfortable in their own skins.
